    @henryyoung101 – Not sure what you mean by it disappearing under the menu. It looks like the logo image is overlapping over the menu bar. What I do notice, though, is when the page is zoomed that same image moves behind the header text.

    Not exactly the most elegant solution I’ve ever come up with, but I ended up accomplishing this by adding an entry via the Custom Menu and styling that item with CSS to show the image and be in the middle. See: http://icgoldphotography.com

    The best way to do this would be if you could define each menu item’s width (i.e., in this case via #nav ul li), but unfortunately I couldn’t do that with the size of the menu menu/length of words/logo image size without having to redo the sizing of everything on the site. So I ended up having to push the image a bit in positioning to get it centered.

    This probably won’t work so well if you don’t have the same number of menu items on either side of the image, by the way.

    Resurrecting this thread because I’m kind of baffled by the tiled galleries and content width thing. Basically, my experience with all of the StudioPress themes I’ve used is that the tiled galleries always load as if the sidebar is present even in the full width layout.

    Does anyone know how to fix that? Looks like ameeker was trying but, like me, is stuck with how to take the code from Twenty Twelve and incorporate it.

    Sorry, Nick, wasn’t really paying attention to the forums the last, well, month.

    I do see a bit of an improvement contrast-wise from how it was initially, but it does still blend quite a bit for me. I like the idea of the profile option. I’m a big fan of accessibility that doesn’t detract from the overall presentation of the site; really, it should be seamless that way in my opinion.

    Thanks for initiating this, Anna.

    I kind of fell off the radar what with one thing and another going on, but now that the holidays are behind me I expect things to settle down enough that I can poke my head in here more often and give some help when possible.

    It’s hard to tell where one entry starts and stops, I thought at first it was just on post coming up.   Adding post-info below the titles might make it visually more obvious…  and/or switching to excerpts.

    What jb510 said. As a visually impaired person it’s even more difficult. I like the color scheme of the StudioPress site a lot, but it’s definitely not translating so well in differentiating where one post ends and another begins.

    EDIT: Um, wow, I can’t even read the blockquote text; it fades right into the background it’s so light. ;_;
