Did you 'zip' these yourself. Sometimes their are two directories in the 'zip' and the stylesheet cannot be found.
lifestyle/lifestyle/lifestyle.zip
REZIP please!
Try checking the child theme first, that is probaby the culprit.

Doak HeggenessMemberYou have to add a background image to the 'body' class ~ line 94 of the style.css file.
body { background-color: #fff; font-size: 18px; font-size: 1.125rem; line-height: 1; }
Change the
background-color: #000;
to see the change.An example:
body { background-image:url('paper.gif'); background-repeat:repeat-y; }
This will repeat you graphic vertically.
The
#header & #footer
background colors are specific to each.

Doak HeggenessMemberDoak HeggenessMemberDoak HeggenessMemberDoak HeggenessMemberYou are using an older version ( 1.0.1 ). You need to add this to your functions.php file after
/** Start the engine */ require_once( TEMPLATEPATH . '/lib/init.php' );
Please use a third party app to add in case of any errors so you can restore immediately ( cPanel or SFTP ).
/** Add support for custom header */ add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 115 ) );
Adjust the
width
under#wrap
&height
under#header
in your style.css. These probably did not change, but you need to check.

Doak HeggenessMemberThere still is header widget. It just is not being used.

Doak HeggenessMemberIt would help if you told us the theme you are using. You probably need to go to the 'Appearance' tab and select 'Header'and there you upload your header image.

Doak HeggenessMemberYou also have to load your custom.css after the child theme styles.css for it to take precedence. I am unclear why you need one regarding your vendor?

Doak HeggenessMemberTry going to the home.php file and uncomment-out the following lines 16 thru 37 ( see below ). To uncomment out put
/*
before line 16 and*/
after line 37. Please do not do this in the WordPress Dashboard. Use a third party application ie.. cPanel or FTP. Make a copy of what you are uncommenting out ( copy/paste ) in case there is an error. You can then go back and restore it immediately using the third party app. Do not uncomment out line 15remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' );
/*
add_action( 'genesis_loop', 'child_grid_loop_helper' ); /** Add support for Genesis Grid Loop **/ function child_grid_loop_helper() { if ( function_exists( 'genesis_grid_loop' ) ) { remove_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'generate_post_image', 5 ); genesis_grid_loop( array( 'features' => 2, 'feature_image_size' => 'featured', 'feature_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image', 'feature_content_limit' => 0, 'grid_image_size' => 'grid', 'grid_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image', 'grid_content_limit' => 0, 'more' => __( 'Continue reading...', 'genesis' ), 'posts_per_page' => 6, ) ); } else { genesis_standard_loop(); } }
*/
The new home.php will look like this:
<?php /** Add Generate Box after header **/ add_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'generate_box', 10 ); function generate_box() { if ( is_active_sidebar( 'generate-box' ) ) { echo '<div id="generate-box"><div class="wrap">'; dynamic_sidebar( 'generate-box' ); echo '</div><!-- end .wrap --></div><!-- end #generate-box -->'; } } remove_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_do_loop' ); genesis();

Doak HeggenessMemberThere is no silver bullet. I would....
1) Backup your site.
2) Open up both style.css files and go line by line and see if there are differences. Selectors may have been changed too. You cannot take your style.css from one and just copy it over to the other as there may have been changes.
3) Any modifications you made to the original theme need to be added to the 'media queries' ( as they do not exist there ) section of the stylesheet to make it mobile responsive.

Doak HeggenessMemberThere is a
"
that should not be there as well as the__( 'Subscribe Now', 'Minimum' )
So it should look like this I believe.
if ( is_home() ) { echo '<div id="page-title"><div class="wrap"><p>' . esc_html( get_bloginfo( 'description' ) ) . '</p></div></div>'; }

Doak HeggenessMemberThis might be the easiest. Add a selector in your function to style.
add_action ( 'genesis_before_comments', 'your_function' ); This hook executes immediately before the comments block (outside the #comments div).

Doak HeggenessMemberDoak HeggenessMemberThere is not a <b> tag for either '4th of July'. Did she 'save' the page? You should use in lieu of <b>.

Doak HeggenessMemberGenesis has a http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-connect-woocommerce/ that integrates the two. You probably have to add a script ( below ) to your functions.php file. As far as I know the 'Agency' them is the only one that includes this. Then you are good to go. This could be the only coding you will have to go unless you need to add a specific function. You have to learn WooCommerce of course besides what I mentioned previously.
I have no idea what your client requirements are. but for a basic e-commerce site this is hard to beat.
/** Add product post type support for Genesis layouts */ add_theme_support( 'genesis-connect-woocommerce' ); add_post_type_support( 'product', 'genesis-layouts' );

Doak HeggenessMemberDoak HeggenessMemberI do not know your client's requirements, but WooCommerce integrates into a WordPress theme out of the box. You purchase add-on extensions as needed. But you may have to make modifications to the stylesheet to make it responsive as well as adding code to the functions.php file for specific features. As you use the Dynamik theme, you may not be comfortable with code. You may want to consider a third party e-commerce application that you link to.

Doak HeggenessMemberThe proper way to add a logo image in lieu of the Site Title & Description is here. You also have to comment-out or delete the following from your functions.php file.
/** Add support for custom header */
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array(
'width' => 1140,
'height' => 100
) );Then you should be able to make it a link.
