Anita, that's what I would have thought, but I can't find anything in the block itself.
What I have available:
1) Post and Page Grid Settings including
*Content type
*Order by
*Category
*Number of items
*Number of items to offset
*Columns2) Post and Page Grid Content including
*Display Section Title
*Display Featured Image
*Image size
*Display Title
*Display Author
*Display Date
*Display Excerpt
*Excerpt Length
*Display Continued Reading Link
*Customize Continued Reading Link3) Post and Page Grid Markup including
*Post Grid Section Tag
*Post Title Heading Tagand of course, Advanced, with Additional CSS Classes
Nowhere do I see anything about margins, etc.
Of course I can change alignment from centered to wide width to full width, but that changes nothing within each grid.
I've used this block on other sites and never run into this issue.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
FutureExpatParticipantOMG, so simple I never even thought of it! It worked. . . thanks, @Anita.
FutureExpatParticipantBumping this hoping to get a response. . .
December 11, 2019 at 2:50 pm in reply to: Display widget contents differently on desktop / mobile? #495445FutureExpatParticipantCopied / pasted the above, and it generated a couple of errors. After playing around for a few minutes, I found that this worked:
@media only screen and (max-width: 568px) {
.header-widget-area div h5 {
text-align: center;
}
}Thank you!

November 26, 2016 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Compatibility issue with Contact Form 7 and Executive Pro Theme #196681FutureExpatParticipantHi Victor,
I've used Contact Form 7 with a bunch of Genesis themes in the past, with no issues, so I thought it was odd. I'll look at the logs.
FutureExpatParticipantAha! Found the culprit! I had it set to force https before installing the SSL certificate. 🙂
Appreciate your help, Victor.
All the best,
SusannaFutureExpatParticipantThanks Victor. I'll keep plugging away. What about the settings - am I supposed to check the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition checked in Settings/Products/Display? What about the Cart page selection at Settings/Checkout/Checkout Options?
FutureExpatParticipantAny ideas about the error message? Just bumping this hoping to get a response from someone more knowledgeable than I...
Thanks.
FutureExpatParticipantThanks, Victor. I tried it, and get an error message -- too many redirects.
For this to work, am I supposed to check the Redirect to the cart page after successful addition checked in Settings/Products/Display? What about the Cart page selection at Settings/Checkout/Checkout Options?
Thanks.
April 18, 2014 at 12:41 pm in reply to: Streamline Pro – Can I move the primary nav bar above the header? #101204FutureExpatParticipantThanks, Andrea. Do I place the code at the end of the functions.php file?
FutureExpatParticipantThanks for asking, Susan. No, I never got any response at all. Finally gave up. But I would still be interested in knowing the answer.
FutureExpatParticipantThanks. That's why we sometimes need other eyes to look at things -- hard to see when we get sloppy ourselves.
Susanna
FutureExpatParticipantOK, it sort of worked. I ended up with no background, but actually decided I like it better. Just out of curiosity, any ideas on why the black background disappeared? Here's the code I substituted:
#header {
background: 444;
margin: 0 auto;
min-height: 100px;
overflow: hidden;
text-transform: uppercase;
width: 100%;FutureExpatParticipantThanks, I'll give that a try.
FutureExpatParticipantHi Andrea, thanks, it's at http;//courageousquesting.com.
FutureExpatParticipantMarie, that's exactly what I was trying to avoid doing. . .
FutureExpatParticipantHi Marie,
Check out this article, http://wpsites.net/web-design/customize-lifestyle-pro-theme-header-image-area/, and also this thread here in the forum http://www.studiopress.community/topic/assistance-with-customizing-header-in-lifestyle-pro/
My problem is, I need to float the site title and tagline over the image, and when I turn on the text it gets all screwed up. I've been hoping someone would jump in here with some advice to help with that. . . you can see what happens if you click on the link above to the image.
Susanna
FutureExpatParticipantHi, I uploaded a header image to Lifestyle Pro, changed the appropriate functions.php and style.css codes as per instructions here. However, when I wanted to turn the site title back on, my image shrank.
The image is 1140x240, and as far as I can tell by double checking all the instructions, I've made all the code changes necessary.
I did 2 screen grabs, first is with the full size header, second is after changing false to true in CSS under add support for custom header. Uploaded it as an image at http://vivadamao.com/discoverdaman/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/wonkyheader.png
Dev site is at http://vivadamao.com/discoverdaman.
Appreciate any help.
Thanks much,
SusannaFutureExpatParticipantThanks, Brad. I may go back and try the Prose Extras plugin again.
