Like others have said, you can style in style sheet instead—much faster, in my opinion. I usually start with the inspector to trace the specific (relevant) selector, and go from there
dareadelParticipantThanks again Victor. It's working now.
dareadelParticipantThanks again Victor. Always very helpful.
I followed the instructions, is there any additional steps behold that? I even went and replace $altitude with $deborah in the block-editor-settings.php file but still getting same error message
dareadelParticipantGreat, and a good news for me. Thanks Victor for your reply.
March 23, 2019 at 5:58 pm in reply to: Background color issue with Outreach Pro theme based site #490230dareadelParticipantTry
.site-container, .outreach-pro-orange .site-header { background: #fff !important; }
"!important" is is to force it to accept the code. You can try with or without it.
You can also check and play with your stylesheet starting from Line 1789 where the theme background color is set.
Hope this helps.
dareadelParticipantI’m styling in the style sheet instead. Much efficient than another plugin.
Thanks again for your replies.
dareadelParticipantThanks Victor. I am actually using the Genesis Sample theme which has the code referenced in the article but there seems to be no palettes for Headings. All palettes I’ve seen so far only apply to paragraphs and containers, unless I am missing it somehow
March 3, 2019 at 6:21 pm in reply to: Essence Pro need to increase width on page for content… #489803dareadelParticipantI had a similar issue and after I checked under the inspector, here is what I did:
/*{page-ID} .content { width: 880px; }*/ }
I commented out the code that caused the overflow and it worked. The “page-ID” is the ID specific to the page I targeted so yours may be different. Check your page code under the inspector to see what class or ID you need to target. Like I said, the code above worked perfectly for me but you need to inspect your specific code.
dareadelParticipantI disabled one other Gutenberg blocks plugin and everything looks fine now.
dareadelParticipantThank you @studiozen for taking the time to check the site. I will make changes to the front page contact form. I agree also with your comment on the email address in the footer. I am going to remove it now and fix the contact form later. Much appreciated.
dareadelParticipantThank you Victor. It doesn't look clean but I guess I have to live with it unless I can find a plugin
dareadelParticipantI disabled one plugin at a time and the culprit was the Cerber Security plugin.
February 26, 2017 at 9:43 pm in reply to: How to add logo instead of words to the After Header menu in Cafe Pro Theme #202050dareadelParticipantI used the recommendations and it works perfectly. Thanks Christopher for the tips!
dareadelParticipantThanks Brad but this does't help me because I have no access to your site.
dareadelParticipantThank you Brad and sorry for not providing a feedback sooner. I have been off for a few days and just going through your recommendations. I will study them and give a feedback soon.
dareadelParticipantYes, the top code is what I have. As for the bottom code I changed to
//* Water Ripples Function JQuery(document).ready(function($) { $('.header-image').waterripple(); });
And here is the code on GitHub
dareadelParticipantThanks Brad. I did add the JQuery dependency in my code but sorry I pasted the one without it. I also have the code in my child theme js/ folder. The add_action doesn't give me errors, it's the code below that causes the error on save. Not sure where my syntax is wrong.
dareadelParticipantResolved by following the instructions on this page Make slider in Executive Pro look like Outreach
dareadelParticipantTo follow up, I will like to display the text on images instead. Like a bootstrap theme look.
dareadelParticipantThanks Victor. I copied directly from the site. However, I have decided to use their default settings which works ok.
