Still no answer to my original question or serious follow up!!!
hophead99MemberAgain.....I appreciate your input mate
But still, this forum is obviously a real a waste of time.
I think anyone new to Genesis would be pretty pissed off with the general lack of response. Also some of us choose not to participate in or have anything to do with FB. The very existence of Slack proves what a waste of time the Genesis forum is, and that someone thought it required a 'productive' alternative. Mr. Gardner, making too much money and getting bloody lazy beginning of the end.... sad, pathetic - nuff said - moving on.hophead99MemberHey Christoph
If I hadn't resolved my issue through my own inginuity by now there would be no hope for me in developing websites for my clients would there!
And yes, despite being a lifetime member of the genesis community I find responsiveness to problems via the forum pretty pathetic these days, I do appreciate the fact that you have responded, even without a solution or suggestion on how to remedy my issue, so thanks for at least responding, albeit 4 months late.
Really, and nothing personal, but this forum is pathetic.hophead99MemberHey
Thanks for getting back to me - yes I have indeed sent ACF an email on this very subject.
However the original way of doing this I got from Nick (the geek) on the old forum a couple of years ago - I just thought someone in the General Genesis Community may have come across this issue of Nested Repeater fields before...and may have a solution, I'm sure it's not hugely complicated - but I just can't get my head around it...Phil
hophead99MemberHi Sridhar
Sorry this does not work - was the first thing I tried - and this post is over 3 years old - is it really still relevant?
I replaced: $('#nav ul.superfish, #subnav ul.superfish, #header ul.nav, #header ul.menu').superfish({
with: $('.js-superfish').superfish({
and even set the delay to 1000 but made absolutely no difference, would I need to change some element of the code for the functions.php as well?
Thanks
hophead99MemberYou're welcome...
hophead99MemberThanks for getting back to me Andrea, however I switched from Outreach to Metric and just dumped the whole idea of using Outreach, which really was causing huge problems on ipad and iphone and even on computer view. If I ever return to using Outreach and come against this issue again - which I suspect I might - I'll deal with it through the members area (My Studiopress)..
Thanks.
Issue not presently, partly or fully resolved..
hophead99MemberOK OK - My words may have been a little harsh, but I don't believe particularly rude.
My apologies to Susan who may have taken my comments personally, which they were not - YOU was meant in a plural sense. My intention was not to cause offense, but possibly to provoke a reaction - I still think 5 weeks is an incredible length of time for a response - but hey, if responses are not guaranteed then I now know why - that was something I was not aware of. I'll stick to the members area from now on. I have no idea how much information you guys have to deal with, and I do appreciate the participation on these forums to those who give their time freely.
I am, however, hugely impressed by the response time to my comments!
Thank you
I consider myself truly chastised, and perhaps a little embarressed!!hophead99MemberSeriously - 5 weeks later!!!
I had commented on the original message as I was having the same problems - I eventually gave up and switched responsiveness off!!
For some reason my comments do not now show up here, although I have received your VERY Late response.
I mean, if you can't be bothered responding to queries, do you really expect people to live with the problem for 5 weeks before someone responds?? - People move on...or is that what you're hoping for..I used to enjoy the old forum and the quick response of individuals to issues. Having bought into the Genesis culture and invested my money in Studiopress and bought all themes, you would expect more of a proactive response to members queries...
This new forum, is just that - not support just a forum - where do I go to get good quick support - answer that please - and I would appreciate a quick response not a sluggish, pointless 5 week delay...
Phil
