So the URL's for the tutorials that I have already tried are not posting. I have tried 6 - yes SIX times and this forum will not post them. If you would like, I can send the URL's via email.
indiedogMemberindiedogMemberYou are correct Susanna. Brad, are you able to help me with my issue. I have been able to get the sidebar to the page, but need help with the position. Not sure if its a CSS issue or a the wrong hook.
indiedogMemberI'm confused. Is this the answer to my question?
indiedogMemberDuh! Thanks Robin.
Its weird though, when I checked the size in the Media Library it def says 400px. Oh well.

indiedogMemberI was able to do it on the top-level menu but not on the sub-level. Thanks anyway.
Anyone else like to weigh in?
indiedogMemberTada!! Thanks for your input.
I also had to work with the CSS for the responsive slider, but you got in heading in the right direction. Thank you!
indiedogMemberThanks bandj,
Its almost there but not quite. I'll pay with it some more.
indiedogMemberAre you talking about the way the thumbnails crop the larger image? If so, you can change the area the thumbnails show by using the WordPress functionality in the Media Library.
Go to the image in your media library and select the image.
Click on Edit Image
Click on the image and select the area you want to show
On the right, select the Thumbnail Radio Button
Click on the little Crop symbol (above the image)
Click Save then update
Now when you look at your thumbnail it should be the area you want.
indiedogMemberHi there,
I finally got working on this again. @cehwitham, thanks for the clarification, sorry, but I could just not get your code to work.
@branika, I used this method here: http://pastebin.com/7S31KHym changing it to reflect the Lifestyle theme. (ie change "agentpress" to "lifestyle").
Onwards and upwards.

indiedogMemberNo, I couldn't get it to work. The first part broke the functions.php file and frankly wasn't 100% sure I am putting it in the correct place. After reading through the whole thing, I am confused - why would I need to add another side bar? It made no sense so I gave up. If anyone could clarify this for me, I would appreciate it.
