jamesalexMemberThanks all and god bless the studiopress forum 😉
jamesalexMemberi have reinstalled the theme and it has the original stylesheet on, the one amendment that I have added is that the portfolio image size is 350x350px on the functions file.
I would ideally like to have the images almost touching each other across and below.
jamesalexMemberI changed the stylesheet as below
.footer-widgets-1,
.footer-widgets-2,
.footer-widgets-3,
.sidebar,
#title-area {
width: 20.629629629%; /* 320px / 1080px */
}#blog .featuredpost .post:nth-of-type(4n+0),
#blog .featuredpost .post:nth-of-type(3n+1),
#blog .featuredpost .post:nth-of-type(3n+2),
#portfolio .featuredpost .post:nth-of-type(3n+0),
#portfolio .featuredpost .post:nth-of-type(3n+1),
#portfolio .featuredpost .post:nth-of-type(3n+2),
#services .alignright {
width: 21.829629629%; /* 260px / 1080px */
}jamesalexMemberit was a plugin that I was using that caused it, a background slider, I have amended the plugin and it seems fine now.
jamesalexMemberit only seems to happen when I add the background slider, after a small trial and error session
jamesalexMemberi have since on the functions.php file changed to add-action for page titles although I only want the blog page to have them on and not the other pages, any ideas?
jamesalexMemberHi
Many thanks, although it doesnt seem to be working on this theme, in the functions.php file there is a google font upload text that I am not familiar with.
Kind regards
Jamie
jamesalexMemberi tried this and it removed the background image completely ;(
will I have done it correctly?
Jamie
jamesalexMemberthanks very much, worked perfectly. Kind regardsjamie
jamesalexMemberJust saw this post from Carrie Dils that will show you how to add the code for the homepage slider.
jamesalexMemberHi Ted
I have just emailed you regarding the above issue, once again, as in my email, many thanks!
jamesalexMemberthanks ted, my php chops are not even that far advanced 😉
Could you possibly input show me how you did that, what the code is and where to insert it? Â No worries if its too time consuming. Also can I have a look at the website that you did it on? I am curious to see how it looks.
Many thanks
Jamie
