Thank you, Cristoph. Now I'll be able to use this new template with the fonts that are more appropriate for my content.

jrmmediaMemberThis is exactly what I want to do on my blog pages. Can you give me a little more information on how to do this? Which file(s) needs to be modified? Do I have to have Genesis simple hooks installed? If so, how do I code this?

Thanks for your help,

jrmmediaMemberHi,
I've been able to get a larger header to work as listed above, but I'm constricted to 1080 as the width, even if I set the two settings higher. I'd like the header to either go to the site container width (1200 pixels) or full width. What setting do I need to change to accomplish this?jrmmediaMemberThanks Brad, will give it a try!
jrmmediaMemberBoth of these problems are strange. I turned caching off, tried them in multiple browsers, reloaded and updated WordPress, reloaded the theme and still the problems prevail. Now with WP 3.9 I can change the widgets in real time. The social widgets change on key except for sizing. The featured post works with 150 x 150 icons, but not 100 x 100. They show up but are full sidebar width.
These aren't bad enough for me to drop the template, but they are frustrating, especially when everything else works in real time using the new widget layout tool (Great feature WP!!).
jrmmediaMemberIs there a document available that shows how to add a widget area to an existing StudioPress template? I'm so close on this one. I just need a widget area under the header that will allow a page wide newsletter signup. I could modify the Generate theme, but it hasn't been updated yet. Any guidance would be appreciated.
jrmmediaMemberAn alternative way that I just tried was to create a blog page snippet that would put page contents above a standard blog page. That way I can create a page with the newsletter signup content that I want and it will be displayed above a standard blog listing. I would just set this up as a static front page. Unfortunately, when I do this, the file is not full width, but it comes close to what I'm trying to accomplish. I'm trying to do a top page newsletter setup like Jeff Goins ( http://goinswriter.com ) or Jon Morrow ( http://boostblogtraffic.com/ ) have done. Any ideas would be appreciated.
jrmmediaMemberPerfect. Just what the doctor ordered!
jrmmediaMemberI'm having the same issue after upgrading from the earlier version of eleven40. I've tried it with a custom header and without. The theme looks good under all other resolutions and in portrait mode on the iPad. Please help. I spent hours today upgrading, but the iPad view is unworkable. I may have to go back to the earlier version until a fix is available.
jrmmediaMemberThanks for your help, Brad. I already have a db on the new server. Can I just overwrite it? Is there a restore plugin that I can use or will I need to use phpMyAdmin? I'm not very comfortable with the phpMyAdmin program. Is there instructions on doing a restore available?
jrmmediaMemberThanks Brad,
I exported the DB on my old site. How do I restore it on the new site? Do I use the import function or do I need a backup/restore program?
