I want to do the same thing – have a background image in the background of the top widget. The issue I have is that when I add it in the background the positioning is off and it doesn’t resize responsively.
I also want to write some text in the widget area and position it. Trouble is the text position is relative but the background image isn’t – making it a mess.
Anyone got any bright ideas about the best way to achieve what I’m trying to do?
Perfect – that fixed it after I filled out all the details on the page. Thanks!April 23, 2014 at 11:31 am in reply to: Executive Pro Call To Action Widget Images Resize Randomly #102085
Thanks for the reply Lauren.
I figured it out!
It was because I put some inline css which said padding:20px so the logos had some space around them. This was causing the image to shrink by 20px. When I removed the inline css then the logo went back to it’s proper size. There seems to be some css that adds in some padding anyway so it isn’t really needed.
Thanks Tom, it looks like you are right. I tried the tutorial and I can confirm it does work.
Be aware that the bottom image where he shows the tweaks to your taxonomy may be different on your website. It still works as long as you pick ‘Format’ as the top selection.
I tried this fix on 2 different websites and both worked.
So no answer here and support says that they don’t provide ‘this type of support’ and can’t tell me either. Anyone got any ideas who might be able to help me?
I have has a look at some of the theme files but I just can’t see where I can change this. Any help?
