HI Pixelfrau,
wow, thanks so much! That was the problem! 😀 It works perfectly now. 🙂
Still we have another problem. We want to have a picture before the title for the pages as well. With the posts it works perfectly, but with pages it doesn´t seem to work. I figured out that it is probably this php-code:
/** Add custom post image above post title */
add_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'generate_post_image', 5 );
function generate_post_image() {if ( is_page() || ! genesis_get_option( 'content_archive_thumbnail' ) )
return;if ( $image = genesis_get_image( array( 'format' => 'url', 'size' => genesis_get_option( 'image_size' ) ) ) ) {
printf( '', get_permalink(), $image, the_title_attribute( 'echo=0' ) );
}But I don´t know how to change it so that it works for pages as well. I am afraid it is because the child theme doesn´t support that feature? If so, than we have to change it in some way...
Thanks again for your help! 🙂

LoslegenMemberHi PixelFrau, hi forum,
thanks a lot for your answer! Yes, we got that problem sorted out by using posts instead of pages. This way the pictures are being displayed correctly.
But now there is a new problem with this sollution: The posts on the newsfeed are not shortened, although I checked the box in the back end of wordpress. Under the tab "settings > reading" you can choose at "show in newsfeed" between "whole text" and "shortened". However checking any of these boxes makes no difference:
On the homepage:
http://www.loslegen.net
and on the category pages:
http://www.loslegen.net/wohnen/
every post is always displayed in full and not shortened.The odd thin is that I installed wordpress on a local XAMPP Server installed all the same stuff as on the web version and it works perfectly. Also I re-installed the genesis theme and streamline pro child theme again, also with no effect.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks a lot in advance! 🙂
