@rstyner Did you manage to get rid of that space? I'm still looking for a solution.
magnify28ParticipantI've followed the instruction and used to the code on that blog post and nothing is showing up in the blocks. I added a few other colours besides the 2 that you get with the sample theme. Any other ideas?
magnify28ParticipantAlso, I only seem to have 2 blocks instead of the 4 on the set up instructions page.
magnify28ParticipantYes it is.
magnify28ParticipantDeleting that doesn't seem to change anything. Can it be something else?
magnify28ParticipantThanks for finding that Victor. I had a look at Inspect Element and couldn't see this.
Strange that this CSS is there as nothing has been edited and it used to show up just fine. Will go find it.
magnify28ParticipantHi Victor,
Thanks so much for your suggestion.
I use WP Supercache. Have deleted cache and deactivated the plugin. The site is back. So do I reactivate the plugin again and/or use a new caching plugin.

magnify28ParticipantThanks for that. I missed the default layout option at the bottom of the page settings. I also changed the Genesis>Theme Settings to not show featured image and that got rid of the double images. It looks a bit better now.
Thanks.
magnify28ParticipantThanks Carasmo, that page does not have anything besides - set up a blank page and use the template.
It does not answer any of the questions. I listed. But thanks for the input anyway.
December 8, 2015 at 3:11 pm in reply to: News Pro how to reduce the height of the header area #173233magnify28ParticipantHI Brad,
Thanks for the link. I had a look at that and the instructions don't apply to what I want to do.
Another problem is that I resized my logo to fit the size suggested on the header. It seems to cut off the front and back of the logo. Why is that? Any idea?
Thanks.
July 31, 2015 at 6:10 am in reply to: Design qustion: can I use Prose to look like this magazine theme? #161038magnify28ParticipantThanks Brad. Will go look for one.
magnify28ParticipantHI Chritoph,
I undid the minify and worked out why. Instead of adding code, I used the Genesis club lite plugin. I have deactivated it now and am back to square 1.
How do I make my header responsive? Do I need to add the different sized images and some code? If so, what is the code?
Thanks.
May 12, 2015 at 9:14 am in reply to: Featured post widget not displaying thumbnails correctly #151854magnify28ParticipantHI Jackie,
Yes, I have tried disabling plugins, etc. I found that my design settings seem to revert back to default everytime there is a WP upgrade.
Not sure why this is happening.
magnify28ParticipantTom,
Another thing. The words behind the images in the Home Middle widget seems to be all squashed up at the top, not like in the demo where it takes up the space of the rectangle.
Might be my font size. How do I change the font size for
1) this widget area
2) overall for the body of the siteWhere would I go to change the font to a san serif font in a bigger size like on your site.
Thanks.
magnify28ParticipantThanks Tom. That was extremely helpful and is a much neater solution to the original tutorial. Maybe they can update it.
magnify28ParticipantThanks Tom.
I was following the setup page that Studiopress provides with the theme and they suggested using the "pages link to " plugin which is what led to my question above. Will try the other plugin and see if that works better.
February 13, 2014 at 4:44 pm in reply to: Where can set the setting for a page to landing page? #90182magnify28ParticipantCreate a page and then in the sidebar, choose the landing page template.

magnify28ParticipantThanks very much. Will try that.
magnify28ParticipantThanks Anita. I tried uploading a new version of custom.php to the path. I replaced the file and am now getting another error message.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare prose_get_custom_php_path() (previously declared in /home/bbbb/public_html/wp-content/themes/prose/lib/structure/custom.php:20) in /home/bbbb/public_html/wp-content/uploads/prose/custom.php on line 22
magnify28ParticipantThanks Laura. It looks like I need to write over the custom.php file for the prose theme. When I look in the FTP, I can't see this file under the theme files. It looks like I need to see a structure folder where this file resides but it's not in my theme files when I look at it under ftp.
Shall I just ftp over the structure folder?
Thanks.
