You might deconstruct the parts your want from Scribble and add to Mindstream or explore using using a plugin like this one -

I really like the Nimble portfolio, particularly the paid upgrade version. I am creating a site with it this month.
Your description of the events, may likley have the answer to your question.
“my site’s server … it was a little slow, but not terrible” then “client has GoDaddy hosting (ugh) and ever since switching, it is SUPER SLOW!”
Besides moving it to GoDaddy, what did you change? If nothing then the culprit is most likely GoDaddy. GoDaddy’s often overloaded remote MySQL server arrangement can really “choke” a WP based website.
Remember … “Friends don’t let friends host at GoDaddy”
David Decker has a much better plugin for Genesis for using to accomplish what you want. He also has FAQ, Notes and Support threads which provide guidence on how to accomplish the alignment she seeks. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-social-profiles-menu/
This thread is particularly helpful for the task -

To start add a background to -
.widget
at about line 1346 in the css.
It can be as simple as – background: #000066; or whatever color or image you want.
Using Firebug you can also find the different content or sidebar areas you want to background etc.
Yes, it is. Care to share your site’s URL?
Hi Wendy,
Same issue here. Just tested it by marking this thread as a favorite. Then checked under my Profile > Favorites and observe “You currently have no favorite topics.”
Sorry it didn’t work for you. When you find something that works for you and that you like please share it? I might need it too someday.
My current all-time favorite is the mb.miniAudioPlayer from the WordPress repository. Nice controls, great with Genesis, HTML5 and very easy to use in posts/pages and even widgets. Unobtrusive but looks good too with excellent settings/options.

Is anything happening with the “focus groups”? It has been a long time since the survey.
Hi Jerry, Sorry for the delay I was traveling. You may not have your edit panel set to display custom fields. Have you checked it by going to the upper right corner of the scree and clicking on “Screen Options” and seeing if you have the possibility of displaying custom fields? It is a check box.
Before updating Genesis, you need to update your site’s WordPress.
What older version is your site running?
