Hi - That did not work, Any other suggestions? or did I do something wrong?
I haven't tried the background yet.
Thank you !
Melanie AmorimParticipant...disregard. i created a second set of slider image posts... which seems to work. if you have any suggestions for the amount of padding on the header and in between posts, let me know. I feel like i've changed it everywhere and it does not change. thank you
Melanie AmorimParticipantHi - i know this post is old but the "remove_action" is deleting the image from the blog page and not the homepage. any updated direction on getting the images on the blog page and not the homepage?
Want featured images here but not home:
thank you

I'm so sorry, but that could do it ? I'm going to play around with the widget settings.

I have the code correctly updated but the date is still on the homepage ?
It's not showing up on the "News" page because I removed the byline using Genesis simple edits plugin.November 23, 2015 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Remove Date on Post Byline in Home Page Widget / Church Theme #171885Melanie AmorimParticipantFirst time I added to the bottom, this time I added it here, up top?

Melanie AmorimParticipantWill do and relay the news to my client. Thanks again !
Melanie AmorimParticipantThank you. We did that Jan 30th. I will double check and see where the images were placed - and keep waiting a bit longer? Assuming there is not much more to do.
Melanie AmorimParticipantbump ...still wondering if this is an option for design.
Melanie AmorimParticipantSweet ! that should do - thank you 🙂
Melanie AmorimParticipantbumping this up with a screen shot of the background image not filling the background
Melanie AmorimParticipantAHH! Â Problem Solved
So simple, yet so obvious.
Ok - Thank You!
🙂
Melanie AmorimParticipantI found this plugin
"Category Grid View Gallery" Â
it's still new but I think it will achieve the effect I want.

Thanks for your previous assistance / response !
Melanie AmorimParticipantI didn't because I was afraid of all the BETA warnings.  But  I just did load it.  Again - yes it works well but seems as if it's doing the same thing, I would need to input each portfolio item.  There are not many directions and I am missing the point of "features/taxonomies" ?
Added a new portfolio using the plugin, no image yet (http://blog.mommydoodlesdesign.com/portfolio/design-portfolio/)
In the settings you can choose "Posts" and specific category "Graphic Design" but not sure what to do next or what that does?
I guess I just want a fancy archive page for this category I already have established
http://blog.mommydoodlesdesign.com/category/graphic-design/going back to the lifestyle theme - love the portfolio feature I have used on this preview page:
http://sweetcheekshq.com.previewdns.com/recipe-index/but don't want to change my or my other clients theme.
