#home-featured .wrap {
width: 100%;
}June 7, 2013 at 11:27 pm in reply to: Make genesis responsive slider full width in Minimum theme #44711Michael RytterMemberWe added the slider from the instructions in this post http://www.carriedils.com/add-slider-minimum-theme/2293. Is there a better way to add the slider? This seems like a pretty common question with the same problems occurring but there is no fix noted in any of the forum posts. Please help 🙁
June 7, 2013 at 8:51 pm in reply to: Make genesis responsive slider full width in Minimum theme #44697Michael RytterMemberThanks 🙂 It worked for the slider width, but it also changed the width of the rest of the site. Is there any way to just make the slider (featured image area) full width and not the rest of the site?
Michael RytterMemberI'm also trying to add a full width slider to the minimum theme. I've followed the tutorial above and it worked great.....except I can't figure out what I need to add to the css to make it full width. Can anyone help. The site is not built yet, but you can see what I mean here http://articlesack.com
I appreciate any help you can give me with this.
Thanks,
Christina
Michael RytterMemberIf anyone else needs to know how to do this, here's what I did...
Create your image and ftp to your theme image folder.
Then replace this code:
#sidebar .widget.enews-widget {
background-color: #222;
margin: 0 0 30px;
padding: 40px;
}With this:
#sidebar .widget.enews-widget {
background: url("images/bg-enews.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #f2f2f2;
margin: 0 0 30px;
padding: 40px;
}Thanks,
Christina
