October 16, 2016 at 8:45 pm in reply to: Divine theme – secondary menu alignment issue with theme's social widget inline #194865mickiParticipantHi and thank you so much for responding! Between the time I posted the above and the time you looked at the menu, I removed text links and added the cart plugin. If you have time, I have added back a text link which is not aligned. And interesting, with your suggested css, the cart icon/info is now to the left. I have left it in place for you to see.
I do not know what you mean when you say "The menu is partially hiding the links anyway." It could see it in Chrome and Firefox, even if shrinking the browser windows to show a more mobile view.
Again, thank you for your help!
EDITED: Ok, I think I just figured it out!!!
.nav-secondary .genesis-nav-menu .menu-item {
margin-top: 10px;
}And if I remove your css, it looks like the cart lines up correctly. So, if you can look, is the menu still partially hidden?

Now wondering if you can not see posts set to private?
Short answer: Paid plugin. need an activation code and I don't believe it can be used for more then one site. if you would like credentials for the site, let me know.
Thanks!

I tried many things and still cannot get it to work. The instructions that you stated above, what shortcode am I suppose to change out? I tried with the woocommerce_before_shop_loop and genesis_loop, didn't work. I know I am doing something wrong! Anyone out there want a small job???
Thank you!
April 1, 2016 at 5:14 pm in reply to: Adding code to functions or? – WooCommerce and Essentail Grid plugins #182694mickiParticipantthanks so much for the link. I have spent the last hours trying to figure out where to put what, and nothing is working. I installed simple hooks plugin, visual hooks plugin to see correct hooks. I have read and read, and cannot figure this out!
It seems like I would not want to replace the existing loop structure, that will be used on other non woo pages...
I am a bit channglend when it comes to understanding all of this :).
Any other help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
mickiParticipantYes, thank you, I figured it out! Appreciate your reply!
This is resolved.

April 17, 2015 at 9:16 pm in reply to: Woocommerce Add to Cart Button Disappears for Variable Products #148296mickiParticipantHi, How did you resolve this? I see it's working now and I am having this issue but with different child theme. thanks!
mickiParticipantOk, thanks, this is what I was afraid of. I find it odd to have a recent theme with so many fonts in pixel size, but then I have not looked at that many. Yep, ctrl F is my friend :). Thanks again for the help!
mickiParticipantThanks for the reply. I am using Eleen40 and the element font sizes are all in pixels. this is why I was thinking I would have to go through and change all of them and was looking for a work around.
for example body:
body {
background-color: #fff;
color: #000;
font-family: 'Lora', serif;
font-size: 18px;
line-height: 1.625;
-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased;
}mickiParticipantthanks for responding!
mickiParticipantAhh, thank you so much, I kept comparing to another and just didn't see that. MUCH appreciated!
mickiParticipantthanks, i tried this early on and it did not effect anything. i tried just about every code i could find :), the above plugin does work but would still like to figure it out without a plugin :).
mickiParticipantThanks for the link, I was hoping to do it without a plugin.
mickiParticipantthanks, i continued to look at past posts regarding headers, and found this one:
did what was suggested and now will just add it in .css.
resolved from my end :).
mickiParticipantthanks, i've been doing so much research today, i never noticed the tutorials link...
April 1, 2013 at 9:59 pm in reply to: menu-item-url for homepage in database holing on to test url #32577mickiParticipantit's in maintenance mode. The header links to the correct domain name, it's just the home link in the main nav that is holding on to the wrong url. i seethe old url in the database, in table wp_postmeta, menu_item_url. just wanting to make sure that changing it there is the correct step. thanks!
