It is my very first website using WordPress as well Genesis Framework and I struggled a lot but same time I learned also many things.
I’m agreed with you about the inconsistency of fonts and colors on home page. Still learning css and finally figured out how to use span style inside the post and pages. I have improved with my colors and fonts a lot while working on another site. I will post that soon some time.
I’m glad that you like the header image and output for the board of directors. To accomplish that I created separate post for each member then placed altogether on a page using “Widgets on page” to display the feature posts.
