.featured-post
.featuredpost
.featured-content.home-bottom .featured-post { display: inline-block !important; float: left; padding: 0 2.8%; width: 33.33333333333%; }
.home-bottom .widget:nth-of-type(3n+1) { clear: left; }
Nothing is working.

So long as I add separate widgets to home top or home middle they display side by side.
However, as you will see from the home middle when I add one widget for feature posts they do not appear side by side, but vertically. I want them to line up horizontally.
Thank you all,
Janet

I was hoping it would be that easy, but it did not work. Here is the code:
.home-top { background-color: #fff; clear: both; padding: 20px; overflow: hidden; } .home-top .widget { background: #744D99; color: #FFFFFF; display: inline-block; float: left; padding: 8px; margin: 8px; width: 31%; } .home-top .widget:nth-of-type(3n+1) { clear: left; }
Do you see any I am missing? Or should remove?

I assume Forest Parks does not have this resolved, as he did not mark it Resolved. I have the exact same questions.
I’m trying to make it so on the home page the first post is shown in full and the excerpts after that.

Janet Morrow | Mountain Ash Website Design | http://www.mountainash.org

Janet Morrow | Mountain Ash Website Design | http://www.mountainash.org
Visit Our Site for more information and pricing.mountashMemberI did not find it, as I am quite sure it has to do with the background images size. I simply added height: auto, and it fixed the issue.
Thank you for getting me thinking about this.
Janet Morrow | Mountain Ash Website Design | http://www.mountainash.org
Visit Our Site for more information and pricing.mountashMemberI have gone through, and there is not inline style that controls the height. I wonder if it is something that can have to do with the background image. They are 1600x1050, but it not listed on the style sheet or inline css.

I have looked at all the widgets for the home pages, and I do not see that. Can you please tell me what area you are seeing the inline style issue?
Thank you!

I am afraid that I have tried that. I have spent hours, and cannot seem to get the arrow to work.
