Thanks! Resolved!
normanvissMemberThanks so much!
Resolved!(why is such a solution different in a theme like this? Grrrrr...;-)
normanvissMemberHi Tom,
Thanks for your input.
It's going to be a job to get this particular image right on the slider.
Seems a bit complicated and odd that we have to recompose images for the slider.
Anyway......Yes, I only have one slide on the front page - that's all I want.
Thanks again!
Norman
normanvissMemberJust sent it to you. Thx!
normanvissMemberShould I try deleting the menu and starting over again?
normanvissMemberThe only other menu choice I have is 'main menu', but that is blank, there's nothing there.
normanvissMemberI think I only have one menu called 'menu' (creative, right?)
It only has three items - About Us, Your Team, Talk to Us.However when I scroll down and get the sticky menu which covers up the logo, that menu shows those three items plus a 'home'.
I had a Home at the beginning, but eliminated it.
Could something in there not be right?normanvissMemberI've done that. Those boxes are were not and are not checked. Black menu is still there.
normanvissMemberI am using the custom menu.
I now have the menu items there in the bar on the top, but when I scroll down I still get a menu on the side with a bar that blocks out the logo.
In the menu section of the dashboard I have all selections at 'select a menu'.normanvissMemberThanks. If you just scroll down a bit the menu appears. It's on sticky menu.

normanvissMemberI have this same problem: I want to upload a header image that takes up the whole header space, but I can't seem to do that. Any thoughts?
normanvissMemberThank you!
Works fine!
normanvissMemberDo you mean just the #EEEEEE?
I've done that and no change.
normanvissMemberThx!
Perfect!
normanvissMemberThanks Susan - works great!
Norman
normanvissMemberOK.
I removed that piece from the ftp files, so the site is up again.
But I must be doing something wrong.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Thx!
normanvissMemberThanks, Jared,
I added this code to functions.php (at the bottom)
and now the site doesn't work at all . I removed the code, and the site still doesn't work.
Ideas?
add_action( 'pre_get_posts', 'be_change_event_posts_per_page' ); /** * Change Posts Per Page for Event Archive * * @author Bill Erickson * @link <a href="http://www.billerickson.net/customize-the-wordpress-query/" rel="nofollow">http://www.billerickson.net/customize-the-wordpress-query/</a> * @param object $query data * */ function be_change_event_posts_per_page( $query ) { if( $query->is_main_query() && !is_admin() && $query->is_home() ) { $query->set( 'posts_per_page', '1' ); } }
normanvissMemberGreat! I'll try it in a minute.
If I wanted to do an h2 or h3 font, could I put that there too?
