I do understand that option will make a default image appear if you don't set a featured image in your page/post.
However for certain pages/posts, I want to be able to overwrite that default image.
It is working fine if I turn off Jetpack's Site Acceleration option but I do want to use this Jetpack feature.
pathetixMemberNot sure if this helps.
Are you guys using Jetpack?
Turns out when I turn off 'Enable site accelerator' the Featured Images appear.Turning that option off while I figure out how to solve this.
pathetixMemberSame problem here.
Featured image is not showing in all pages.
If the default image in Customizer is used it will be displayed.Any idea?

You can revert to the 560px width first and then play with the padding/font-size to get it exactly right.You can also shave some pixels off the .site-title since your logo is shorter than the default allocated width.
pathetixMemberHm, I'm not really proficient in Genesis hooks.
I'll read those articles first and try.Thanks!
pathetixMemberYou'll need to add this css rules:
#content img, #content p img {
border:none;
padding:0;
}pathetixMemberDiv class="site-container" has a box-shadow applied.
What you can do is add this css:
.site-inner {box-shadow: none;}
November 21, 2013 at 5:10 am in reply to: Remove Responsive Slider javascript functions if slider is not on active page #74690pathetixMemberThanks for replying.
Unfortunately I am still developing the site locally so no URL to show yet.
I am using Genesis Executive Pro child theme.The slider resides in 'home-slider widget-area' after the main class="main" on the home page.
The javascript function gets printed before the closing body tag.On the other pages, this widget that houses the slider does not appear.
But the javascript call is still there before closing body tag.Is there a way to remove it by function perhaps?
September 17, 2013 at 7:31 am in reply to: How to insert custom markup outside of header's .wrap? #62973pathetixMemberBtw how did you came up with genesis_header_markup_close ?
I don't see it in the hooks reference page.September 17, 2013 at 7:22 am in reply to: How to insert custom markup outside of header's .wrap? #62971pathetixMemberSorry for the late reply but I was trying to understand what you did.
It works! It's kind of a long solution but it works.
I was already contemplating on just building a custom theme but now I don't have to;Thanks for the explanation, I really appreciate this.

However I can't get the markup to be outside of the header .wrap div.I Implemented your solution:`add_action( 'genesis_header', 'custom_wrap_open', 12 );
add_action( 'genesis_header', 'custom_wrap_close', 14 );
add_action( 'genesis_header', 'everything_within_custom_wrap', 13 );function custom_wrap_open() {
echo '<div class="custom-wrap">';
}
function custom_wrap_close() {
echo '</div">';
}
function everything_within_custom_wrap() {
echo '<h1>HELOOOO</h1>';
}`That generated:`<header>
<div class="wrap">
<div class="title-area">...</div>
<div class="custom-wrap"><h1>HELOOOO</h1></div>
</div>
</header>`What I would like to achieve is the custom markup to be the sibling of the header .wrap div.
I really appreciate your explanation though.August 21, 2013 at 10:32 pm in reply to: Help With Single Page Template and Advanced Custom Fields #58119pathetixMemberI actually would like to know about this as well.
Been trying to find out how to write a single-posttype.php page for a few hours.
There doesn't seem to be a single documentation for a custom single page anywhere.
(Or am I just searching for the wrong thing?)August 21, 2013 at 9:17 pm in reply to: Is Jquery included/loaded with the Genesis Framework? #58115pathetixMemberOh I see.
Thanks for both the clarification and the solution 😀 -
