My biggest issue is that the following lines in my landing page template are not working:
/** Remove Nav */
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' );In functions.php, I have the following:
add_theme_support(
'genesis-menus',
array(
'primary' => __( 'Primary Navigation Menu', CHILD_DOMAIN ),
'secondary' => __( 'Secondary Navigation Menu', CHILD_DOMAIN ),
'footer' => __( 'Footer Navigation Menu', CHILD_DOMAIN ),
'mobile' => __( 'Mobile Navigation Menu', CHILD_DOMAIN ),
)
);If I comment out the primary line, then the menu disappears. Is there a reason that it is persistent?
pendraggon87MemberThanks! One thing that confuses me is that the landing page - I modified that template, and it is supposed to remove headers etc, but I see everything still there.
Ideally, I want my landing page to just be a header, no menu, a widget underneath the header, and then my blog posts.
/** Remove Header */
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 );
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' );
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 15 );/** Remove Nav */
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' );That should have removed headers and nav, but I dont see that reflected at all. Additionally, if I turn on breadcrumbs in the UI for Genesis, and then I try and remove it using remove_action on the landing page, the breadcrumbs are still there

1 - Any licensing issues with using those themes?
2 - How completely custom is it? Don't the modifications made to base themes pretty much just change some color and styling? -
