Brad - Thanks! I am not sure how exactly I resolved it, as it was a year ago. Here's my site with multiple author display: http://indianlit.org/books/

July 16, 2016 at 5:56 pm in reply to: No Sidebar Pro: How to put "Next Page" pagination link up top? #189623rajkMemberI mean the "[1][2] [Next Page] >> " here is the link to the screenshot image to see what I mean https://www.dropbox.com/s/c1e6vkarnq27fwz/123nextpage.jpg?dl=0
I'd like this "Next Page" link to be one of the menu items. I suspect it can be a bit tricky to implement, as menu items are static and "next page" is dynamic. But anyhow, this is the problem description. And Brad, thanks so much for your always-on-always-helpful responses. Been a Genesis customer for many years now and always got a quick resolution from you.

July 16, 2016 at 5:32 pm in reply to: No Sidebar Pro: How to put "Next Page" pagination link up top? #189620rajkMemberThanks, Brad. I am afraid after a couple of hours of trying to understand how to make it work, I gave up. Went with a totally temporary and pedantic alternative: added a primary navigation menu item with <>/page/2 link. You can see it on rajkaramchedu.com.
Genesis dev team: Suggestion for enhancement: It would be very useful if your themes add this functionality of putting the page navigation in the header while a user is configuring the theme. This will go a long way in mimicking in the human reading behavior (scrolling all the way down to the footer section to simply go to next page is annoying.) Thanks!

rajkMemberOkay, this worked to remove titles and date displays from home page grid displays. Now it only displays graphics. Check http://riffiti.com/riffstreams/ (hiding it from indexing, not yet public)
1) To remove title display, find this piece of code in style sheet (style.css) and change display value..ambiance-grid .entry-title a,
.ambiance-grid .entry-title a:hover {
color: #fff;
display: none; /* changed from display: block; to hide from home page grid display */
}2) To hide date display, add the below single line.
.ambiance-grid .entry-time { display: none; } /* to hide date from home page grid display */
Let me know if this worked for you. It works perfect for me. Thanks,
Raj
rajkMemberHello - Just installed Ambiance Pro. How did you remove the titles and date on grid so it only shows the graphic on the grid? Didn't exactly catch that in the above code snippet.
Thanks!

rajkMemberRobin - Thanks for the reply, sorry for my late response. I meant to say BackupBuddy earlier (when I said Backupify). The thing is, I don't think BackupBuddy is the right tool, because it takes everything from staging site and clones it on the live site. What we need is a "merge" mechanism: first don't touch the items already live on the site, second pick the items marked off (in some way by the user) from the staging site and push them onto live site. Anyway, when I contacted BackupBuddy sales guys they briefly replied their tool was not meant to do that. I hope BackupBuddy guys see a business opportunity here. From my search for the "merge" tool, I concluded that there's no such tool right now, that does the job professionally, like the BackupBuddy does for backup. I think BackupBuddy guys are just a whisker away from getting there, but their product marketing guys have to believe it first. Anyway, just a few comments, for anyone reading. Thanks again, and we can close this thread now.
