In case anyone else is looking for this functionality on the the Education Theme, I got this response from Studiopress help:
You can change the style of the pagination by editing this section of the style.css file:
/* Post Navigation
------------------------------------------------------------ */.navigation {
font-size: 12px;
font-weight: bold;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 20px 0;
width: 100%;
}.navigation li {
display: inline;
}.navigation li a,
.navigation li.disabled,
.navigation li a:hover,
.navigation li.active a {
background: #f5f5f5;
padding: 5px 10px;
text-decoration: none;
}.navigation li a:hover {
background-color: #34678a;
color: #fff;
text-decoration: none;
}.navigation li.active a {
background-color: #f47529;
color: #fff;
text-decoration: none;
}revtrevMemberI've figured most of this out.
The child theme link is here:
http://my.studiopress.com/themes/education/
The last thing I'm looking for is where and how I can jazz up the pagination in the Education child theme. I can't find it in the pagination. I've been able to do to a little bit css work on Outreach Pro here http://iharvest.ca/messages/heaven-will-amazing/
Somebody mentioned http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-pagenavi/ to more easily jazz it up. I think I'll default to the CSS changes if I can find it in the CSS for pagination in the Education theme.
Thanks for looking into this thread.
revtrevMemberThe theme is a studiopress theme.
I've seen the area is genesis_entry_footer hook so I've decided to remove and replace the sharing sharing options and move the you might like plugin into the side bar.
I'm going to try inserting the page navi into the genesis_entry_footer hook and see what happens.
revtrevMemberI don't use pagination for articles, only inside articles. Using the <!–nextpage–> tag puts in pagination on the page, I'd like to move it above my sharing links to make it more noticeable and spice up the CSS on the pagination itself, preferably with <Previous and Next> tags bookending the pagination.
I've been able to change the CSS on the Outreachpro theme...but would like to move it to the genesis_entry_footer hook (I think). How can I do that?
I can't find pagination CSS in the Academic theme...can I use insert CSS for pagination somewhere in the stylesheet?
Thanks for mentioning the Table of Contents Plus plugin. I'll give it go and see if it will do the trick.
