I tried to add your line of code to my functions.php and home.php and it's not working. Not sure what I'm doing wrong?

robMemberOlioverbey, Thanks for the follow up. I'll give the line of code you posted and see if it works. The other line of code mentioned above did not work for me. I'll let you know tonight when I get working on it.
RobrobMemberPaul, I got it figured out on my end.... Not sure if it will work on yours...... I added
.minimum #inner {
padding: 0 0 40px;
}I changed the above line of code to:
.minimum #inner {
display: none;
padding: 0 0 40px;
}I screwed around with some other lines of code but altering this one worked for me and didnt change any of the other page layouts. Hope this helps.

robMemberI would like to just change the home.php file but I cant seem to figure out how or where to make the changes. Mt thought is to remove the home top right completely and make home top left bigger? Seems pretty straight forward but I dont see where I can make home top left bigger? Here is the home.php file. Any help would be appreciated.

robMembersorry for the lame post... I found it and got it fixed! You guys still rock!
robMemberThanks for you help anitac, pretty simple as you stated!
robMemberThanks Anitac, Just a quick question, Do I just add the lines of code at the end of the file? It looks like I can add just register the widget area at the end of the current registration..... but not sure where to add the hook to welcome text widget? Forgive me as I know pretty much nothing about .php? Here is the code of my .php file
edited to remove code.
Do I just include the registry and then the hook directly after it or somewhere else? Any help is appreciated.
robMemberSorry the link above is broken.

robMemberI would like to remove the image, "sample image 1600x600", and add the slider in that spot.
