Try adding this to your function.php file it may also require a bit of CSS to customize the color for your font as well.
I would think your theme would have this function already unless it was removed.
//* Customize the post info function
add_filter( ‘genesis_post_info’, ‘sp_post_info_filter’ );
function sp_post_info_filter($post_info) {
if ( !is_page() ) {
$post_info = ‘[post_date] by [post_author_posts_link] [post_comments] [post_edit]‘;
return $post_info;
}}
Your stylesheet.css file can be accessed right from your WordPress dashboard

Appearance > Editor > on the right side of your WordPress dashboard you’ll see

stylesheet.css

You can make any and all changes to your style.css file.

Normally all you would need to do is remove the short codes for the date in your function.php like this ( [ post_date ] )
I did install the Metro pro theme on my demo site but did not see this function for the date and other functions strange.

Add the following php codes to your function and it will hide the date from displaying. Try to display this snippet some were in between your function codes so that it will not break anything on your site. I tested this snippet and it work like a charm. Hope this helps
// Remove post date in Genesis post info

add_filter( ‘genesis_post_info’, ‘post_info_filter’ );

function post_info_filter($post_info) {
if ( !is_page() ) {
$post_info = ‘By [post_author_posts_link] [post_comments] [post_edit]‘;
return $post_info;
}}
The images are never completely flush causing a space between the logo you place in your header and menu bar, kinda of tricky. Glad it worked for you.

I use Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ to source pages giving me a better out look on things

Hello Jade, locate the following CSS code.

Find this CSS code, ( padding: 3.75rem 0 1rem 0; ) and change the 3.75rem to a lower number this should remove the space between the logo and menu bar.
#header {
border-bottom: 2px solid #1E1E1E;
min-height: 100px;
overflow: hidden;
padding: 60px 0 16px 0;
padding: 3.75rem 0 1rem 0;
text-align: center;
I would suggest if you still have a fresh copy of your fuction.php and Style.css, to take a closer look to see it in the correct format.

Have you tryed clearing your cache? I would also make sure you have your logo only uploaded once, for some reason having images uploaded more them once can sometimes cause problems like this.
