That did it! Thanks very much.
MaryrocketgirlMemberOk, i finally figured out how to change the background color of the text area on all but the front page. It's still white! Any ideas?
rocketgirlMemberHi pdblizzard, did you ever resolve this? I have the exact issue - even after reading this thread, i'm still scratching my head.
Thanks for any insight.rocketgirlMemberThank you! 🙂
rocketgirlMemberI realize that now because this was the last page i created. I would like to try to keep it because of the work with all my backgrounds, but know i may have to change themes. Ok, now i'm going to show you how dense i am. How can i take the stylesheet code and number the lines so i can find line 1099.
Thanks much for your generous help.
MaryrocketgirlMemberThanks Jeremy - From your code i learned! If my container is 1200px wide, is there a way to tell it to increase the actual content width to use more of the white space? This theme is dependent on the left part not covering my background. Thinking i can use 900px IF i'm able to use more of the content area. Any theory you can impart? Thanks again.
rocketgirlMemberwhen i add - i am unable to preview my page - server error. drats!
rocketgirlMemberThank you, so to understand: this is the current order in my home.php file. If i take the first one, portfolio, and replace that word with say, services; services would go to the top?
Thanks for bearing with me.

rocketgirlMemberThanks Doak - i think for now, i'll take your last sentence as a warning. I'll revisit as I gain more knowledge!
MaryrocketgirlMemberDashboard/Appearance/Header
uploaded it there.
thank you!rocketgirlMemberOnly have one current issue - trying to get a browser wide color behind my image header (only depth of the header, not going into nav bar). This is making my brain hurt - any insight gratefully accepted!
rocketgirlMemberThank you - this works!! I appreciate your help.
rocketgirlMemberThank you for your response, please bear with me;
1. You said to separate the header. "Try separating the #header and add a background-color:#...; and width:100%;"
I'm not sure what or how this accomplished.2. I did use the blog for my portfolio, because it originally did group them 3 across, two rows. but when i activated the GWA, all my pages just go down the page. I'm not sure how to code it so the "pages" with the featured image - i know it's a div tag, but don't have enough experience to know where they should go.
Thanks again for your help.
rocketgirlMemberThanks for your reply. This might be too heady for me, but i'd like to attempt with your help.
1. How do i separate the header? Can you provide code that i can look at?
2. Thanks, with your help, that works!
3. I am using the widget apmplified (thank you for the suggestion) and now the pics link to the page; but am not sure how to get my pics, 3 across, 2 rows?
Thanks again for your help.
rocketgirlMemberHi Brian - Thank you for your reply. I'm still not able to get this to work on PAGES. I wonder why pages is so elusive. I see a plugin (WP-Page Navi) that says it will do exactly what i need, but i am not savvy enough to get it to work 🙁
rocketgirlMemberHi,
Thanks for your reply. I added the code in the html tab within my page, and may be missing something? Is that all you think I need to add, or do I need more code? Thanks for any input and your help.

February 18, 2013 at 4:08 pm in reply to: Removing Entire Footer Widget Section from Pixel Happy #21107rocketgirlMemberit's really weird, because i did do a copy and paste into text edit. i just found the original functions.php of pixel happy, and i compared it to what i pasted and it's the same thing. I'm at a loss as to how to correct this. Thank you for any insite!
