I've also had good results with Testimonal Basics, but that required me to tweak the plugin's css a little bit for how I wanted to display it.
sacousinoMemberAh, that's a bummer! But thanks on the tip for MotoPress. It's worth checking into.
sacousinoMemberI've been trying to figure this out myself and I'm just not getting it. I notice the OP was able to get it worked out - help, please?

Thanks.
sacousinoMember(I meant it's on a page, with a Featured Page widget)
sacousinoMemberApologies for the LATE response!

I'm using the bullets in the body of a post, and the post is called on the home page via a Featured Post widget. Regardless if i view the content on the post itself, or via the widget, i get those lines.
sacousinoMemberHowdee! I was looking for this bit of info and was happy to find it. I was able to move my post info below the post title.
But now, the text for the post is immediately below the post info with no line break between the two. I've tried adding that into the blog post itself with an or simply a blank <div> function, but any space generated is simply too big.
An example post showing this oddity is here: http://www.specializedeventsatsea.com/cruise-ship-stateroom-demystified/
What can I do to incorporate a line break?
thanks!

THANK YOU! That did the trick! I admit I'm a little confused how that worked as it's not attached to any specific css styling (like the styling for the standard featured post widget) so if you get the chance I'd appreciate a little clarification on that, though it isn't a demand!
I appreciate your help!
sacousinoMemberI'm a bit aggravated at this too. Since these new forums have come online, the help and support available has dropped WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY down. I used the old forums extensively to research stuff - many times, I didn't need to ask a question here because it was already covered in the old forum.
But lately, it's been like pulling teeth to get any help. Severely diminishes the value of the price paid for Studiotpress themes, that's for sure.
And the fact that the original post on this thread was July 19, and there's STILL no response from anyone affiliated with Studiopress speaks VOLUMES.
August 5, 2013 at 9:29 am in reply to: Executive: Problems Adding a Full-Width Featured Post Widget #54239sacousinoMemberThanks, Brad -
WHERE does this padding go? I can't add it to the .executive-home .home-cta-2 widget code, as that already has its own padding that defines the widget space.
August 4, 2013 at 8:04 am in reply to: Executive: Problems Adding a Full-Width Featured Post Widget #54094sacousinoMemberI simply copied the theme's css for .executive-home .home-cta, renamed it slightly (.executive-home .home.cta-2) and used a white background instead of the dark one on the original widget aera. I inserted the widget area in home.php, and registered the sidebar area in functions.php.
The space shows up correctly, and I have no problems adding widgets and the like to it, but the widget area itself isn't the issue. It's the Featured Post widget and how it looks in the space.
If you go to the site now (www.exclusiveeventsatsea.com) and scroll down to see the Norwegian Epic Cruise Ship Review blog post, you will see the featured image for that post butts up against the post excerpt on the image's right side. I can't seem to get a decent space in between those two without screwing up the alignment on everything else on the home.php that uses a featured image.
August 3, 2013 at 5:28 pm in reply to: Executive Theme: Featured Post Widget Image does not align #54008sacousinoMemberI'm really surprised that no one else tried to help - totally a different place, that's for sure.
For the record, I got it resolved with the help of a friend of mine elsewhere. It seems I had inadvertently omitted the line
-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
from the style code for the second call to action box. Put that in, and presto, it's fixed.
July 28, 2013 at 10:52 am in reply to: Executive Theme: Featured Post Widget Image does not align #52975sacousinoMemberThanks for your suggestion. It didn't work, though.
Besides that, the padding is identical to .home-cta (the original Call To Action widget) and it renders correctly.
If I put any other content in the field, it's fine. It's using the Featured Post widget that is causing the error.
July 28, 2013 at 7:07 am in reply to: Executive Theme: Featured Post Widget Image does not align #52932sacousinoMemberWow. I'm completely appalled at the lack of response to my problem. Support's really fallen since moving to these new forums.
July 22, 2013 at 1:53 pm in reply to: Executive Theme: Featured Post Widget Image does not align #51897sacousinoMemberNo one?
sacousinoMemberSo, you're suggesting that I change the values so that H4 is a larger header than H2?
sacousinoMemberI re-did my header banner, added an extra layer of "white" background and that seemed to resolve the issue. No CSS work required here, I guess.
sacousinoMemberNo?
