Hi John, I appreciate the reply but I'm not following you on how this would be unethical or how you'd need control of their facebook account. The majority of the websites out there have a like button on them so it's nothing new or shady. All I'm trying to do is get the header or footer widget to be a like button instead of just directing them to my facebook page. Maybe I'm not explaining it very well.
I will check out that plugin tomorrow Kim. Can I put it where the widget has my facebook button? Thanks! Dane

Are most people not putting like buttons on their websites or are they just using a plugin rather than using the widgets in the header and footer. That's the main question I'm trying to get answered is if there is a way to use the built in widgets (I have a fb link at the top and bottom of my page) and have it like and then link to my fb page or if that's not possible and I need to deactivate those widgets and use a plugin. I'd like to keep it clean using the built in icon at the top but not sure if I can get it to perform the like function.
Thanks!

Thanks
DaneskysurfingMemberThanks Zach! It sounds like it's over my head so I guess I'll just go with a transparent header for now. I wish the header was more responsive to screen sizes.

skysurfingMemberHi Ryan,
Thanks for the reply. I actually figured out the email issue. I didn't put mail to: before my email address in the widget which took care of it after I did that.
Someone had recommended using jotform to make a contact form. Do the ones you listed keep track of the peoples contact info? Do you think a plugin would be easier/better than jotform? Of the ones you listed, is there one that stands out?Thanks again!

June 7, 2013 at 3:59 pm in reply to: Outreach template is off center (shifted to right) on screen #44652skysurfingMemberHi Tony,
I made the first change you suggested and that seems to have taken care of. Should I still get rid of box-sizing: border-box; or it that not necessary since the first one seems to have fixed it?
Thanks for your help!

Since I'm a newbie and haven't really done anything in the style.css before I want to double check before I make any changes. This is what I currently have:
/* Content
------------------------------------------------------------ */#content {
-moz-border-radius: 5px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
background-color: #fff;
border-radius: 5px;
float: left;
padding: 30px 40px;
width: 450px;
}.content-sidebar #content,
.sidebar-content #content {
width: 650px;
}.sidebar-content #content,
.sidebar-sidebar-content #content {
float: right;
}.full-width-content #content,
.full-width-content.outreach-landing #content {
box-sizing: border-box;
width: 100%;
}You are saying I should add those 3 lines so that it looks like:
/* Content
------------------------------------------------------------ */#content {
-moz-border-radius: 5px;
-webkit-border-radius: 5px;
background-color: #fff;
border-radius: 5px;
float: left;
padding: 30px 40px;
width: 450px;-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
-webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
box-sizing: border-box;
}I wasn't able to take out that space when I pasted in here but I understand I should make it look like your example. If this is correct I will make that change later tonight after you confirm it. I don't see where it shows what line # so I wasn't sure I was around line 618.
Thanks,
Dane
skysurfingMemberThat plugin worked great.
Thanks!
