I used to have this theme and sharaholic and it worked find. I did not use any of the Genesis hook’s. I just enabled the plugin and enabled the setting for below the posts.
I have the same theme and your blog looks fine. I am viewing your blog in IE9.
Is your brower maximized?
What do you me, Yoast Plugin not showing up in the search results? Are you trying to search for the plugin to install it and nothing came up?
Did you search for the plugin and install it and activate it but the plugin not showing up?August 29, 2013 at 10:00 pm in reply to: Sixteen Nine + Simple Social Icons: widget disappears #59640
I would do this, provide a link to this thread as well. The tech support might want to read what’s been posted already.
You can get support on the theme through the designers website. This should be mentioned in the “getting started” page on your download page.
You should send an email to the support team to have this fixed.
Yoast’s blog runs off the Genesis Framework so he understands how Genesis work’s and with new changes in the latest version. I’ve been using Yoast for 2 years and I like it better over the default SEO options we get on here.
It took me awhile to figure out all the settings that I wanted on the plugin but this plugin does get updated a lot and that’s a plus.August 24, 2013 at 8:19 pm in reply to: Sixteen Nine + Simple Social Icons: widget disappears #58654
I have the theme and plugin and the icons are showing up in my side bar. I have more then 1 plugin installed btw.
The widget’s is correct with this theme. I’m using it as well and that’s how it was designed. Brian used this on his official blog for awhile before creating a new theme.
All themes will not have all those types of widget’s that you mentioned. This is coded into the theme by the designer.
Have any of you tried asking for a fix via. ticket system? I don’t think the theme creator saw this thread.
Follow the StudioPress blog to know what themes have been updated. The eleven 40 has been updated like mentioned in this blog post already.
Also, whatever theme that you is using now, you will see a version number in your appearance themes tab. Login to your downloads section here on studiopress and compare version numbers. I just follow the studiopress blog as they will announce updated themes and new release’s.
I am a pro member so I get all the themes in my download section. lol
StudioPress needs to have another column in downloads section with “last modified” date mentioned so it is easy to know if something has been updated but never announced to the public.
You is talking about getting emails about status updates on the beta version or blog posts on the official StudioPress blog?
I just follow Brian on twitter to get some updates from him.
I am subscribed to his official blog and other sites/accounts online.
<— has plans for HTML 5 stuff and new theme in mind but like everyone else, this Snake waiting on 2.0
My web host websynthesis just allowed us to upgraded to 3.6 yesterday. Hopefully this a sign 2.0 is coming before this weekend. (I’m going out of town this weekend and hope it’s released before I leave)
Be patient folks. StudioPress does not want to release a product that has bug’s. I rather wait longer for a product that is perfect with no bug’s so I can upgrade 1 time, make additional theme edit’s and focus on drinking beer.
The reason why the studiopress staff don’t post that often on the forum is because they is doing 1 on 1 support in which is really good. I have used there ticket system a few times and like the 1 on 1 support in which I don’t get different answers from multiple people in which just confuse’s me.
The old forum has a lot of out-dated information and still have some information that could still work. If you search this forum, you will find Nick explaining why the forum was removed.
The moderators on this forum are volunteer’s I believe and not paid staff so they won’t be online 24 hours a day like the staff is if you use the ticket system.
