Sure,
As far I my understanding goes the 'the_content_more_link' is a WordPress filter which is applied in 'wp-includes/post-template.php'.
And the 'get_the_content_more_link' is the name of the filter that genesis has used to filter the 'the_content_more_link' in 'genesis/lib/functions/formatting.php'
Hopefully that explains it a bit better 🙂

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberHi,
Try changing this line in your code :
add_filter( 'the_content_more_link', 'sp_read_more_link' );
To
add_filter( 'get_the_content_more_link', 'sp_read_more_link' );
hopefully that will resolve your issue.

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberHi,
There were a few changes between RC and 2.0, first thing I would check is the html5 theme support was changed from:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-html5' );
to
add_theme_support( 'html5' );
Hopefully that works for you.
Here are a few resources you can checkup on the changes:Bill Erickson - http://www.diffchecker.com/k1j3cwz7
Gary Jones - http://gamajo.com/changes/Hope this helps

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberYes no problem,
The numbers at the end are priorities the lower the number the higher the priority, now that the basic version.If you want to read up more on this GaryJ has wrote a great explanation of these and why it was changed slightly for Genesis 2.0

If you want to change the width of the text input box for example:
#header .s { margin: 5px 0 0; width: 250px; }
Just change the width 🙂 But basically there are 4 css styles there that you can play around with to achieve your desired look.

If still having an issue let me know what version genesis you are running and when i get home Ill take a look at the enterprise theme files and see if I can find out what's wrong.

Ok for your first question, you need to open your child themes style.css file and look on around line 1459 for the following:
#header .searchform { float: right; padding: 50px 0 0; }
and just change padding on the right example: padding 50px 20px 0;
And for your second question paste the following into your child themes functions.php file.
<?php //* Do NOT include the opening php tag //* Customize search form input button text add_filter( 'genesis_search_button_text', 'custom_search_button_text' ); function custom_search_button_text( $text ) { return esc_attr( 'Go' ); }
And jsut change the text form Go to whatever you like.
Don't forget to backup all files just in case something goes wrong.
Hope this helps

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberYeah If your referring to the > image before each one I see the same in the footer, try adding this to your style.css file:
.simple-social-icons ul li { list-style-image: none !important; }
hopefully that will solve that issue.
But in regards to the comments hopefully a few more people chime in and have a look, hard to diagnose what going on for you without seeing the problem 🙁

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberOk yeah I'm not sure then to be honest, I'm seeing it using chrome, IE and Firefox.
Maybe a caching problem?

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberHi,
Im sure it has to do with the Generate theme repositions the post info, so the hook you are using will not work.
The good part is you only have to remove 1 line that is already in the functions.php on around line 42.
Look for:
/** Reposition the post info function */ remove_action( 'genesis_before_post_content', 'genesis_post_info' ); add_action( 'genesis_before_post_title', 'genesis_post_info' );
And remove the the
add_action( 'genesis_before_post_title', 'genesis_post_info' );
Hope this helps

Follow me on TwitterStewartMemberHi,
Heres a few videos you could check out : http://studiopress.tv/.
But YES to all your things important to you, you should not be limited by Genesis at all, think of it as a very well coded Parent Theme which you build all your child themes from. So when Genesis gets updated your child theme stays untouched.
I've been developing with genesis for a while now and would not change, only thing is like any framework there is a learning curve.
Not sure on a Genesis Beta test installation tbh maybe contact the guys @studiopress pre-sales department
