@Cattails - sorry I wasn't able to help. Glitter & Lace is one of the community themes, so I can't test the code myself on my own site (otherwise I would). Let's see if I can dig further for you.
In the meantime, if you go to your downloads, and "How to", I believe there will be a link to contact the developer of your theme - you might try seeing if she has a recommendation.
SusanModeratorDashboard > Settings > General > Change site title. Save changes.
SusanModeratorYou're welcome.
SusanModeratorI may be wrong (in which case, someone will come by and correct me), but I believe the only way you can re-arrange the order of the portfolio is by changing the publish date.
SusanModeratorCan you please provide a link to the page?
SusanModeratorOpen the page to edit, scroll down to the bottom of the page, to Layout Selections, and select the full-width layout.
SusanModeratorGreat!
SusanModeratorHave you tried removing this line completely:
‘feature_content_limit’ => 500000,
SusanModerator@YippyMomma - I responded in the other thread:
SusanModeratorThere was a syntax error in the code I posted in this thread (I had a ' at the beginning and end of the code above - I've removed it to correct the error). Did you copy the code from this thread or the other one?
Remove this wherever you don't want it
<a class="page-title-button" href="#">' . __( 'Subscribe Now', 'minimum' ) . '</a>
SusanModeratorYou're welcome 🙂
SusanModeratorOk - at the top of that screen is a help tab, and next to it is another tab that says "Screen options". Open that tab, and check the "link tab" under "Show Advanced Menu Properties."
SusanModeratorBut, what I did was I created a new menu in the “appearance/menu” area.
Did you look in that area for this:
January 13, 2013 at 8:08 am in reply to: 2 images shows up on post (Generate Studiopress Theme) #11570SusanModeratorDid you check featured image, and upload it to the post? Doing so will create two images on the home page.
SusanModeratorUnder Menus > open up the tab for the page/post in the menu item, and check the box "open link in a new window/tab". Save menu.
SusanModeratorI just applied the the snippet to my test side using the Minimum theme, and it worked:
/** Reposition the secondary navigation menu */ remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' ); add_action( 'genesis_before_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' );
Where did you add the snippet?
Can you please provide a link to your site, so I can take a look?SusanModeratorPerry - yeah, you can customize it so that by default all pages have a sidebar, and then remove it from the home page, but I figured I would offer up the easiest solution.
Glad it helped. Closing this thread as resolved.
