I am interested in this as well. One of the sites built with Altitude Pro and featured in the theme showcase seems to do this, but I'm not clear if it's as easy as a setting change or a deeper dive into .php files.
tamjlMemberHalloooo...can anyone help?
tamjlMemberThanks for the ideas, jbculp. I considered going the route of your option #1 but rejected it because I want to find a clean coding solution instead of adding redirects, etc.
I'll continue to play with it and if I figure anything out, I'll post it here. I hope you'll do the same! And maybe someone will notice our plea and help us out.
tamjlMemberThat did the trick, munsterweb. Thanks a bunch!
tamjlMemberjbculp, did you have any luck figuring it out? I want to accomplish the same thing as you but haven't had success yet.
tamjlMemberFound the answer to the header image problem described above...though the documentation says to make it 224x224, the css file has 112x112. When I recreated the image at the smaller proportions, it worked just fine.
tamjlMemberI am also seeing the image twice, the second one slightly offset from the first. I, too, followed the size instructions in the documentation.
tamjlMemberThanks, Chris, that did the trick. For what it's worth, the "problem" code is how the theme came...downloaded it this afternoon and have not edited that. I'm flagging it here in case StudioPress folks want to fix the code in the theme's CSS download.
tamjlMemberWoohoo, that was it, Chris! I uploaded the images, then noticed the slider was set to its default size of 920, so changed the slider setting to 1040. I just deleted the original images, re-loaded them, and all is well.
You're a good sleuth, thank you.
P.S. I'll never forget those videos you posted of the fire. They scared the wits out of me all the way here in NH.
tamjlMemberHey, Chris, great to see you here! I hope all is well with you and Lisa and that CO continues to be a good place.
I think you're onto something. How would I check into that? On the slider settings page I don't see any setting like that and the widget itself just directs me to the slider settings page.
Thanks!
tamjlMemberMarc, thanks, but that doesn't help me much because:
The photos were uploaded at 1040x400
When I set the featured image, I set it to use the 1040x400 size
When I embed the image in the post, it's also embedded at the 1040x400 size
The slider settings are set to 1040x400Some setting must be resizing it but I don't know where. I haven't modified the original functions.php file that came with Outreach and would set the image sizes.
Thanks.
tamjlMemberJen, your second one was right on the money...thanks so much!
