Figured it out. Plugin issue. Why? I have no idea. Since I didn't change anything, I don't know why it broke. But, at least it's working now.

Thanks! This was perfect! Exactly what I wanted. And thanks for the props. I just wanted to change it a touch from 40px to 30px (and yes, I was potty trained too early 🙂 LOL
Also, thanks for the quick response. Much appreciated!

Got it! And I'll take you up on it when I get up the courage to try it again 🙂
Hope you have a great rest of your weekend!
Bruce
theBGguyMemberAw, shucks! You're making me blush 🙂
Thanks!
P.S. It's taking me a little longer to figure out the Genesis process since they don't have a dashboard like Woothemes to make changes to the site (like type/font sizes, widget bar colors, image sizes etc.). But I really like the clean look of Magazine Pro. So, I'm sure I'll be a fan at some point. It's just a bigger learning curve for us non-techies. For example, I'd like to add the post navigation section to the bottom of my home page (like you have on your site), but I tried adding the code from Genesis to the functions.php file (my first attempt at that) and it crashed my site. I had to have the tech support at http://www.site5.com go in and fix that for me. So, I'm a little skittish about making changes to the functions.php file :-), even though I'd like that function on my site. At Woothemes, it would just be a check box. At Genesis, it's a functions.php change. That's the difference.
theBGguyMemberHey, we both knew you were way above my pay grade 🙂 Good call!
theBGguyMemberNote: Anita and I solved it. When I deactivated the plugins, it deactivated Jet Pack. When I noticed that Jet Pack wasn't working, I reconnected it with WordPress and everything came back. So if anyone else loses their Edit CSS menu option under Appearance, check to make sure your Jet Pack is connected to WordPress. Phew! Thanks Anita and Rob!

Thanks! I went to your site to send you a screen shot but didn't see where to upload an image of what I'm seeing. Is there a way to do that?
Bruce
theBGguyMemberThank you both but I didn't insert the Custom CSS menu. It came with the Magazine Pro theme (which I still have installed. Haven't deleted anything).
As for the downloaded file, I didn't do anything with it to my site. I downloaded the file to my hard drive and then exported it to Disqus (on their site) so they could import my comments into the Disqus system (i.e. I didn't upload the file to my site so why it would cause the Custom CSS menu item to disappear doesn't make any sense).
Note: I'm obviously not a techie, but I've never seen a menu item disappear when deactivating plugins. And yes, I've activated all the plugins that were activated before the Disqus process (they were only "off" for two minutes).
I've also closed down my browsers and restarted them to make sure it wasn't a browser problem. Just weird.
theBGguyMemberAwesome. Now, if someone can help me find the custom CSS file that disappeared from my dashboard an hour ago, I'll be all set 🙂
