The menu-toggle is a button. The red color is coming from inline CSS for the button. Inline CSS overrides the style sheet. You can try adding .menu-toggle:hover with the white color to the style sheet. Make sure to include !important.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou can change it with a filter. I haven't tested it, but this should do it for you when added to functions.php:
add_filter('genesis_seo_description', 'live_phone_number'); function live_phone_number( $output ){ $output = '<p class="site-description" itemprop="description"><a class="live-phone-number" href="tel:0529221220">Call 052 922 1220</a></p>'; return $output; }

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorSetup files? Child theme's don't include setup files. Setup is done by following setup instructions. The Studio Pro theme is a third party theme, not a Studio Press theme. The instructions for setting up your theme are right on the page you provided above: http://docs.seothemes.net/category/73-setup.
If you need further help, you should ask the theme developer, Seothemes.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe only way to change the color of an image is to change the image itself. I'm assuming you want the image to be pink like the menu items? I can't give you the exact code because you have right click disabled on your site and I can't use my browser inspect tool to view the underlying code.
If you are displaying the Dream & Co image in the typical way, there is inline CSS inserted into your page that looks something like this:
.site-title a { background: url(https://victorfont.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/dream-co-logo.png) no-repeat !important; }
If that code was in the style sheet instead of injected inline, all you would have to do is add the following to the style sheet after the code above:
.site-title a:hover { background: url(https://victorfont.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/dream-co-pink-logo.png) no-repeat; }
However, because it is injected code, the !important tag makes things a little more complicated. The !important tag forces a specific CSS directive to overrride everything else related to the affected HTML elememnt.
What I would do to make this easier is remove the logo from the WordPress customizer and add the injected CSS code directly to my style sheet. Remove the !important tag as well and you should be fine.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorI just looked at your page and viewed your source code. The content for your entire page is commented because of this
<!-- End Facebook Pixel Code —>
Do you see the problem with that line? You did not close the comment correctly after the word code. This means the opening comment tag applies to all content that comes after it until it finds a proper closing comment tag.
If you use your browser inspect tool, you can see the problem immediately. https://victorfont.com/how-to-use-your-browsers-inspect-tool/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorFor the featured image, you would have to replace genesis_do_post_image with your own function.
For posts, you would enter the div and background image directly.
I hope you understand that as long as right click is enabled, even background images are accessible and downloadable. Going through all of that work to make background images will provide no additional security.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?July 6, 2017 at 12:44 pm in reply to: ACF fields on archive page are blank if I use pre_get_posts – Why #208787Victor FontModeratorpre_get_posts is a little different from other hooks. With pre_get_posts, the $query object is passed to your function by reference. You do not need to return a value. Any changes you make to the object from inside your function are made to the original immediately.
Also meta queries are handled a little differently from the main query object. The main query has an array called meta_query. You have to append your criteria to the meta_auery array.
I haven't tested this, but the approach I would use is:
add_action( 'pre_get_posts', 'themeprefix_pre_get_posts' ); function themeprefix_pre_get_posts( $query ) { if ( is_admin() ) { return; } // Show only active job openings if ( is_post_type_archive ( 'job' ) ) { $meta_query = $query->get('meta_query'); $meta_query['status'] = array( 'key' => 'status', 'value' => "yes", 'compare' => '=' ); $meta_query['active'] = array( 'key' => 'active', 'value' => "yes", 'compare' => '=' ); $query->set( 'meta_query', $meta_query ); } }
You'll have to match up the key and value to the actual values stored in the database, but this should at least point you in the right direction.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorWhatever the issue, it's with your page builder. The problem is not coming from Genesis or the child theme. You'll need to get support from the the developer of the page builder you're using.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?July 6, 2017 at 5:34 am in reply to: Using "excerpt" AND bbpress create unexpected behaviors (search result page) #208764Victor FontModeratorI'm not that familiar with BBPress, but if you want to return BBPress to display full content and leave Genesis displaying one of the truncated content displays, you have to create a conditional in your functions.php. BBPress has built-in conditional functions to help with this task. Here's some code that might work. I don't have BBPress installed anywhere, so this is untested, but it should get you started down the right path:
if ( bbp_is_forum_archive() ) { remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' ); remove_action( 'genesis_post_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' ); remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'bbpress_do_post_content' ); remove_action( 'genesis_post_content', 'bbpress_do_post_content' ); } function bbpress_do_post_content() { if ( is_singular() ) { the_content(); if ( is_single() && 'open' === get_option( 'default_ping_status' ) && post_type_supports( get_post_type(), 'trackbacks' ) ) { echo '<!--'; trackback_rdf(); echo '-->' . "\n"; } if ( is_page() && apply_filters( 'genesis_edit_post_link', true ) ) { edit_post_link( __( '(Edit)', 'genesis' ), '', '' ); } } else { the_content( genesis_a11y_more_link( __( '[Read more...]', 'genesis' ) ) ); } }

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorI think you confused the issue by saying you wanted to remove duplicate titles. You only have one title.
I don't think we're going to be able to help you with this one. The code displaying the page title with an h1 tag is not coming from Genesis. It does not use a Genesis hook. It appears to be a customiziation specific to your site. Metro Pro doesn't display the page title like that. The class main-title-bg, is not a Genesis class. You're going to have to search through your code and find the customization to remove it.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou have a inline CSS that is overriding the style sheet. If you use your browser's inspect tool, you'll see inline CSS for .header-image .site-title > a. The CSS is:
.header-image .site-title > a { background-position: center !important; background-size: contain !important; float: left; min-height: 140px; width: 100%; }
It's the background-size contain that's causing your issue. Because it is marked with !important, it overrides everything.
Now here's the weird part. It looks like someone embedded the entire style sheet as inline CSS. I viewed the page's source code and searched for style.css, which is the child theme's style sheet. It's not even being loaded. This is not how Genesis based themes work. Someone made some severe alterations to this site, I suppose to improve performance. Good luck tracking this one it down.
