If not I’ll need to implement one of these hacks.March 20, 2014 at 8:11 am in reply to: Please check if this site has cross browser compatibility #95795
Thanks for checking…yes looks fine in IE9, 10, 11 if using Win 7
I guess my client is using IE 8 on Win 7 (I also have IE8 on XP).
Acc to http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_explorer.asp
most people who use IE use IE8 (3.1%)
Why do you say “IE8 should not feature in website compatibility list”
I’ll recommend my client upgrade his browser on Win 7March 19, 2014 at 6:03 am in reply to: Please check if this site has cross browser compatibility #95643
IE 8 on Windows XP and my client IE 8 on Windows 7
Let me know if you see the same and how to fix the alignment issues (if possible).

Looks terrible in IE (at 480, 768, 1024) when I test the site in http://www.studiopress.com/responsive/
Big gap between logo and contact info
Any way to fix this?March 18, 2014 at 8:49 am in reply to: Please check if this site has cross browser compatibility #95483
Thanks..does it look fine now for multiple resolutions, devices and browsers?
I solved the problem by creating an image for the subtitle.
Is there better method you can think of?
Didn’t work for me.
I added the css to line 2285 but it made no difference.
What am I missing?
Check with your hosting company when they made the last backup of your site. If so, they can restore your original site within minutes. Best Wishes.
Thanks let me know if it looks fine now
Thanks Andrea…I have a follow-up question
How do I left align the contact info so it’s still mobile responsive?
I tried left aligning the widget via css then adding padding but it messed by the mobile display.November 20, 2013 at 12:17 pm in reply to: Featured Page Settings for a 3 column home page Metro Pro Theme #74445
Thanks for checkin…I got it resolved.
Thanks for checkin, I was able to restore the correct design with a backup on the server…Whew…thankgoodness.
I tried the CodeStyling Localization plugin and also tried downloading poedit but had no luck translating months & comment boxes. The plugin was the easiest to use after watching a video. Seems like I missed something.
