HermanParticipant
Thanks for feedback. Brad I viewed the video but didn't find the the advanced image editor in media manager.
I ended up using css padding to add space between images and text
<img src="http://yourstrulyboutique.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/DSC_3538-s1.jpg" /><img src="http://yourstrulyboutique.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/DSC_3676-t.jpg"
style="padding-left:140px";
padding-right:140px">
<br /><br />
<span style="padding-right: 300px">CASUAL</span> SHICKSeems to work.
HermanParticipantThanks..I ended up creating a home featured widget (as described here http://www.briangardner.com/home-widget-area-eleven40/)
then added 2 columns using col classes to add space between the 2 images. I also added col classes to the welcome widget however the images are not aligned in the same way.
How do I align the images in both welcome and home featured widgets?
HermanParticipantThanks Anitac...so if I want to add a row containing 2 images under the welcome widget do I add an additional welcome widget?
HermanParticipantThanks Anitac..good to know
Bill..I'll check with my hostI temporarily solved the problem by deactivating all my plugins.
HermanParticipantBump
HermanParticipantThanks Chris..checkin it out.

No worries, you didn't break the internet... but the page you are looking for no longer exists. Head back to our homepage or search the list below
This is the message I get when I go to that URL
Funny thing is when I successfully login to http://my.studiopress.com/
I'm unable to login to forums from the drop down. That's when I getYou do not have sufficient permissions to access this page
What am I missing?
HermanParticipantBrad..thanks for checkin. The background is still there.
I gave up trying to remove it and instead extended the black bg of #wrap and #inner.
I'd prefer to still remove the bg.
HermanParticipantThanks..skimmed the site but didn't find much info in the documentation on features or what it can be used for. Seems like it's a social media platform.
HermanParticipantRemoving that bg image would remove it from all other pages on the site.
I extended the width on #wrap and that seemed to do it although the bg remains.
.agency-landing #wrap {
width: 1500px;
height:1000px;
margin:0px auto;
background-color: #000000;
}HermanParticipantThis is the code I used but the bg remains unchanged
.page-id-6 {
background: #000;
}HermanParticipantI added this CSS code but it made no difference
.page-id-6 {
background: #000000
}Please advise
HermanParticipantI don't see them in the form code
HermanParticipantThanks a lot Sunil and Jon..your tips were very helpful.
January 12, 2013 at 11:02 am in reply to: custom menu link appears on primary and secondary nav #11460HermanParticipantI still get links on both menus...I only want the primary menu to show.
Is this a problem with version 1.9.1 because I don't have this problem with genesis 1.8?Bill..only the primary menu box contains the custom menu name I created
The secondary menu box is blank (from the drop down)Anitac - Under genesis settings there is no check box for activating menus only if you want fancy drop downs. I tested checking those boxes and it made no difference.
Please advise
HermanParticipantThanks a lot Brian..worked

Using Version: 1.9.1
January 10, 2013 at 9:06 am in reply to: custom menu link appears on primary and secondary nav #10957HermanParticipantAnyone like to take a stab at this problem?
HermanParticipantThanks Bill ...I added a few lines to functions.php as I was following this tutorial
http://www.wpsyntax.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-rename-genesis-child-theme
So should I just change the folder and css info only?
