Thanks again, Ginger! Genius! I did just add a blank page as the static page and the widgets do still remain -- which I have never seen before.
scottwachterMemberThanks so much, again, Ginger. I do not I can choose a static page. I was hoping there was CSS to remove the search line and have the layout I have since I like the widgets. I will rethink using this them. Thanks!
scottwachterMemberHi Ginger!
Thanks so much for taking the time to help! This tutorial seems to help setting up a search or am I missing something? I am trying remove any mention of search to clean up my home page.
Thanks!
Scott
scottwachterMemberThanks for the help! I have played with this a lot in style.css of the main theme file and adjusted the nav-primary in these two areas with no success:
1)
/* Primary Navigation
--------------------------------------------- */.nav-primary {
text-align: center;
}.nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu {
width: 50%;
float: left;
}AND 2)
.nav-primary .genesis-nav-menu {
width: 50%;
float: left;
}scottwachterMemberThanks, and that is what I originally did myself. I do believe that it is attributed the lack of change to the CDN installed on my sites as it finally changed 😉 Thanks again!
scottwachterMemberThanks again. I do have the default color chosen. The link is in the original post 😉

However, Copyblogger/StudioPress associate is attributed the lack of change to the CDN installed on my sites so I have contacted my host.
scottwachterMemberThanks again! I did set the .site-header color per my first post here ;( but that did not work. Thanks for the Chrome tip (control click on Mac)! I think it's time to change themes and chalk up the Outreach Pro Theme as non customizable insofar as the header color.
scottwachterMemberThanks but if I change the theme color in the genesis tab it will change the entire theme to blue, orange, purple, red etc. it keeps the background that theme color. Can anyone advise how to change the CSS for the green color them inside CSS to the color I want? All I really want to accomplish here is to make the Outreach Pro HEADER have a black background like the original Outreach theme.
scottwachterMemberThanks much!
scottwachterMemberThanks much... I did read the article and first tried the code to set Auto Set Default Post Image but that did not work. I also tried both the code and plugins Easy Facebook Share Thumbnail and Genesis Featured Images but the images still do not show on posts like the one above and http://sportseye.com/pryor-stretches-out-for-td/
None of the many Genesis themes I have tried seems to show images in posts but thanks anyway!
scottwachterMemberThat did it! Sridhar, thanks again for your assistance with this!
scottwachterMemberThanks again Sridhar! Believe it or not, I have these exact settings applied with Minimum Pro and Genesis 2.0.1 but still have square simple icons: http://highrisegroup.wpengine.com
scottwachterMemberThank you so much Sridhar! Please note that with:
2) http://my.studiopress.com/setup/minimum-theme/#homefeatured
... this is what I already have configured. Do you know how can I get the Simple Social Icons to appear circular and dark as in the demo?
Thanks again!
