I found a solution to this.
This is what I included in functions.php:
/*Add Author Byline in Pages - so that it is citable (Exclude 'About-Page' from this) */ add_action ('genesis_before_post_title', 'page_byline',10); function page_byline($posttitle) { if ( !is_page('about') && is_page() ) { $posttitle = 'Cite this as: '.get_the_author().' ('.get_the_modified_date('Y').') - ‘'.get_the_title($ID).'’. <em>Einstein Blog.</em> Retrieved from: '.get_permalink().' [Online Resource]'; echo "<div class=\"post-byline\">$posttitle</div>"; } }
In Style.css I put:
.post-byline {
background-color: #FFF0D8;
border: none;
color: blue;
font-size: 12px;
}xammamaxMemberThanks a lot for your reply Sanjeev!
I understand what you did there and tried it on my page but unfortunately it does not work..If I use the same code but change it to
if ( !is_page () ) {
it works so that I can change the byline for posts but unfortunately I do not see a byline in pages if I include the code that you posted.Do you why this is? Do you have another idea?
xammamaxMemberSorry the page I linked to isn't a good example.
The main issue is with the ChartBoot visualizations. The TablePress tables actually do resize.
Here is a page with ChartBoot visualizations that I would like to resize automatically when the screen is too narrow.
Thanks!
xammamaxMemberIs there really no way to adjust the width of embedded content in a responsive theme?
I guess this is a problem not only with embedded visualized data but with other embedded content as well.Any help with this?

xammamaxMemberThanks for your answer Trisha! I was playing around a bit more and I am getting there I hope. Thanks for your help!
xammamaxMemberThank you so much Derek! That was exactly what I had to fix. Great advice especially as you could not see the site.
Thanks!!!xammamaxMemberxammamaxMemberWhat I found out through other forums was that I could do without the 'Custom Menu' widget and put the primary menu right in the header by adding the following to functions.php
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
add_action( 'genesis_header_right', 'genesis_do_nav' );But now I do not manage to put the title and the menu in the same line. It is like this
-- Title -----------------------------------------------------
----------- Menu Button 1 -- Button 2 --- Button3Does anyone have an idea how to put them in the same line?

There is something quite similar in a Genesis Child Theme that I found! If you look at the child theme here you can see the exact effect that I am looking for if you click on 'Services', 'Blog', etc. in the upper left hand corner!
If this menu would be fixed on the left and would link to the headlines of the post, page it would be amazing!
