I am very happy to announce the release of the Copyblogger theme for the Genesis Framework. Copyblogger will be one of many free child themes that we plan to make available for download.
Copyblogger is a “blog” theme, which includes features such as 3 color styles, 6 page layouts, custom menus, footer widgets, responsive layout, threaded comments. (click to see demo)

Wow that’s a great news to all genesis users. One question though, will it contains the related posts and social sharing icons as used currently on CopyBlogger Site after content..?
It’s not available in the demo Vivek, so most likely no.
That’s a lot to ask for of a theme, especially a free one!
Shouldn’t be too much to have your designer/developer fix one up for you though.

Great free theme. I use the free theme for a client to build out the site before they pick a premium theme to make it work. Though Genesis does the same thing. This is a great free one. I may even run it on my own blog for a while since there is an Orange option!

Awesome design that I’m currently using.. I have two questions though..
1. Can I adjust the width of the main body and the sidebar. I’d like to make both a bit wider for 640px Youtube videos and 300px sidebar ads/widgets..
2. Can I ad the Genesis Slider above the first post instead of in the sidebar? It would certainly look a lot better above the fold, in the main body, above my first post.

I love this theme. I am getting an error message however when I try to upload the theme to my site. I have never used any of the genesis themes or framework before. what could be the problem?
Do you have the Genesis Framework in your wp-content/themes directory too?
How Do you enable comments on the pages? Currently there is no comment section when I create a page. Help anyne?
Inside the Genesis > Theme Settings page there’s an option to display comments.
Hey I absolutely love the copyblogger theme so I downloaded it but it is totally jacked up when I try to preview or activate it… like the footer shows up just below the header, the font is about 6 pt, etc. Any help would be most appreciated.
Jeff – what is the URL for the site? Are you sure you have the Genesis Framework theme also installed in the wp-content/themes directory?
