We are also very happy to announce that a new options page has been built, which is much more efficient and will serve as a foundation for all of our themes. (As we update our current themes, this will be included in them!)
Support For Localization
Another awesome feature that is included with the Education theme is support for localization. We have been asked numerous times if our themes can be localized, and we are going to make sure that all of them can be internationalized into different languages. There will be an upcoming blog post here explaining how to localize a StudioPress theme.

Well done on getting Joost involved, I’m a big fan of his work and you’ve got one of the best there.
These new StudioPress themes are all looking too much alike, and this Education theme is no exception. Where is the creativity? Unfortunately this theme is just more of the same.
Well, I disagree. You can do anything with these themes. One key to their quality is the consistency across all themes. You don’t have to learn some new terminology, coding or css. When a new one comes out, it’s easy to figure out what’s going on and customize it. They all use much the same basic stuff. I think that’s a huge plus, not a negative.
I agree. The one thing Brian that I see is more of the same. Bland colors and no real creativity. Your themes can be easily copied, so real skill is not required. What you have going for you is your use of white space, nothing more. Sorry. Not trying to be negative, but just telling it, like I see it.

I’m sorry you feel that way, this theme is using similar elements as previous ones, but still presents an overall different look.
Finally, a theme for us students! I’m going to have to stick with Streamline though since I’ve spent a lot of time customizing it. Still a great theme, Brian!
