Fabric 1.0 Child Theme Released

StudioPress is happy to announce the release of the Fabric 1.0 child theme. This WordPress theme works on the Genesis Framework and can be downloaded by Pro Plus members in the support forum. All others can purchase the package here.

If you have already purchased the Genesis Framework and any other child theme previously, you can simply purchase the child package by itself, otherwise you will need to purchase the Fabric + Genesis Theme package.

The Fabric child theme includes the following features: 3 color styles, 3 layout options, featured images, fixed width, footer widgets, threaded comments.

Take it for a test drive…

  1. Wow, like all other themes it is great, thanks for releasing will be going to download it.

  2. Wow! it looks fantastic…

The top menu bar is showing the originality of uses.

    Well Done! :-)

  3. Looks great!

  4. Charles Clarkson :

Wow. Are those pictures of your house, Brian? :)

  5. I LOVE, LOVE it! Another great theme by the rock star StudioPress team.

  6. This is gonna be cool!

  7. Nicely done … but what’s with all the female-skewing designs?

Looking forward to some themes that can handle news or magazine fare — the existing ones are a bit long in the tooth (Magazine, News, Sleek, Platinum). Another suggestion: Would be great to see some more themes that don’t rely on a big image top left or top center.

Terrific to be seeing so many new looks.

    • Well, the theme release prior to Fabric was Minimum, hardly a female-skewing design. Truth be told, I realized months ago that most of the StudioPress themes had a harsh, business and magazine style look and that it was time to develop some themes that would appeal to women and mom bloggers. After all, they make up 50% of the people online. 😉

  8. Great new and beautiful design, good work! It’s nice to see that there are different color variations in more and more themes. I’m missing (a bit) the new grid loop view.

I agree with Glenn: we need the next generation news, magazine and business themes.

  9. Good shot! Nice theme, with pleasant colour variations too. Thanks Brian.

  10. Looks great. Your designs are looking much nicer these days. I love the Pacifico font also. Good work!

  11. Love this theme so much and just purchased but is there a plugin within it like the Advertisement section in the demo?

  12. Brilliant
    Love the tan colour.
    Another great theme.

Don’t know what other people are looking for, but I’m always looking for business type themes.

They did a survey over on one of your competitors sites and business type themes came top of the poll.

How about a poll over here Brian?

You know the sort of thing, blogging theme, photo gallery theme, business theme etc.

Would be interesting to see the results.

    Cheers Brian

  13. theme lloks great.

which studio press theme would you recommend for a political party?

if there’s none, would studiopress consider designing a theme for political campaigns?

    thanks for your suggestions.

  14. Oh, just released! was wondering why this theme was not there in my collection… Cool!

  15. Hi! I really liked your forum, especially this section. I just signed up and immediately decided to introduce myself, if I’m wrong section, ask the moderators to move the topic to the right place, hopefully it will take me well… My name is Jack, me 34 years, humourist and serious man in one person. I apologize for my English

  16. Hi,

Just installed the latest genisis update and now it’s moved things around on my site. The header was left alligned and is now centered and a jagged line has appear across the top. Any ideas how to correct these things?

    • All you need to do is move your widgets back into the proper places in the Widget screen, and there might be one additional widget down in the Inactive Widgets area.

  17. How can I get this download? I have already purchased the Genesis theme package but this is a new one. It says in my package that it includes all future themes. Thanks!
