StudioPress is happy to announce the release of the Nitrous 1.0 child theme. This WordPress theme works on the Genesis Framework and can be downloaded by Pro Plus members in the support forum. All others can purchase the package here.
Theme Features
The Nitrous child theme includes the following features: 10 color styles (blue, brown, green, olive, orange, pink, purple, red, silver and teal), 6 layout options, custom background, custom header, featured images, fixed width, theme options, threaded comments.

Another awesome wordpress theme.
This theme is not compatible with buddypress yet?
Not yet – if you take a look at the About This Theme section on the Nitrous sales page, you’ll see that it’s not compatible yet.
Looks nice. Can the homepage feature a video vs. an image?
The Nitrous demo site is currently using the Featured Page widget, in which case you can’t featured a video that way. However, that space is a full width widget, so technically you can accomplish that by using a text widget, putting your video code into it with text wrapping it.
Can’t tell if I love the theme or the stock photography. Nice work either way!
I love them both!
Thanx for another awesome theme! I think this one’s great for customization and also a lot of use cases from business, personal portfolio or just a blog. I love how flexible Genesis is
whoooaaaaaa..
it’s like a simple theme but a powerfull theme..
I like the theme
Love the theme! Is this the front template that is used for the blog or is this the front used as a “page”??
There is a home.php file which controls the homepage…. it loads as the typical blog page and then serves as the homepage once widgets are moved into the right spots.
Beautiful.
Super looking theme Brian
This will be one of the themes that I offer my clients who are looking for a business site with possibly an attached blog.
Good to see a range of colours – makes it easy to accommodate a client’s colour scheme.
Keep those themes coming Brian, keep em coming.
I am a fan, and have bought 4 themes, but most of the themes look like the same themes with just slight differences. Please consider doing genuinely new themes that are genuinely different other than change of colour schemes and moving stuff around.
Thanks for buying the themes – we’re doing our best to offer up a variety of different looks and layouts. If you have an example of something you’d like us to do here, please drop a link.
Here are 3 examples of themes that I would like to see here:
http://themeforest.net/item/cocomonio-business-and-portfolio-wordpress/full_screen_preview/225962
http://demo.woothemes.com/?name=optimize
http://themify.me/demo/#theme=bizco
They have all a strong business look and feel with big call to action buttons, fresh colors (sky blue, light green), large and well balanced margins and paddings on empty and white spaces/background, cool typography style to add testimonials (or other quotes), custom fonts (Google Web Fonts is my favourite) for headings, widgetized footer area, etc.
Actually another good example is your own new design: http://www.studiopress.com/ (maybe you could share it or something similar).
(sorry for my English)
Take a look at this site Brian

Love that wide slider with the rounded corners on the front page.
Anything like that in the pipeline.
And (sorry to go on) perhaps a few more widgets.
An advertising widget for 125 x 125 advertising banners say.
All done.
Hi Brian,
I absolutely love your themes since the the first one I used a few years ago. Look forward to coming back here and taking up the PRO!
cheers
One of my favorites thus far, love the homepage design.

Am using this as we speak for a client … nice, clean design. Thanks!
