Genesis Responsive Slider Not Displaying Properly on Mobile

Hi,

I have the Genesis Responsive Slider set up, but I am having two problems:

1) On mobile (iPhone, Windows Phone, and Android tested) the images and text in the slider do not fit in the window and jumble together.

2) I have it set to exclude categories based on their ID, but the slider still pulls in these posts.

Any idea how to fix these issues?

Thanks,

Britton

Can I get a link to your site, so I can go look?

I'm seeing the slider respond properly?

On mobile and now in regular view, the slider does not display properly. It is cutting the pictures and words in half. Also, it is not filtering out the categories I have specified (see attached). Any idea what's going on?

For the slide in the screenshot on the left -that;s how I see that slide when I visit your site in my browser.

If you use a small image in a large slider box, then it will not look right.

Ah ok. That still leaves the two issues of it not filtering out certain categories (see Capture3 and Capture4) and every slide not displaying properly on mobile. Any idea why this would be?

Can you clarify what you are referring to as the two remaining issues?

Hi Ron,

Thanks for following up. See below for detail on the two remaining issues:

1) On mobile, the slider is cutting off the posts and pictures (see attached screenshot).

2) The slider is not filtering out the category IDs I have specified to exclude. (see attached)

Thanks,

Britton

For 1 - Your images are not all the same height. The slider has a max-height. When you have different height images the slider height does not change until the largest image scales below the max height.

To fix that, upload images that are all the same size or all larger than the slider.

For 2) - That screenshot is too small to read.
