Find developer from Showcased site?
Am I missing something obvious? If I find a showcase site I love, how can I find the developer? Do I have to sort by developer until I find the site image?
I'm not seeing anything on the specific site (in this case, Decor) that would lead me to the developer directly. Could just be that it's late in my time zone. thx |
StudioPress has listed there trusted recommended designers on this page. Some of them might of did those design's.

I want it the other way...
I saw the list of designers. What I would like is to see who designed each individually showcased site, so that once I find something, I then don't have to scroll through 100s of more pages trying to figure out who the designer is. If StudioPress thinks the site is good enough to showcase, why make it difficult to find the designer?

Try looking at the bottom of the site. Often designers will put their link down there. Or you can look at the style.css file and see if they put their name at the top.

If this is a community...
Then why make it hard to identify each other? I can find the developer, I know. But why are we making it this HARD? The developer posted the site to the showcase--and then the site HIDES the developer ID, it would appear.
I am clearly missing some point here. |
Only the developers listed in the StudioPress recommended developers list (http://www.studiopress.com/genesis-developers) get to have their name on the showcase. It's a privilege reserved especially for them. The rest of the showcase sites are from people all over - not just the recommended developers.
Hope that helps. :) |
