Odd issue with Sublime Text 2 w/ WP + Genesis plugins
I have discovered the power of hooks & filters with WordPress & Genesis, and have fallen in love. As an efficient coder, i'm looking into sublime text 2 to try to have some autocomplete fuctionality, I obviously want to simple speed up the process.
Anyway, it seems to be that the purplefish32 / sublime-text-2-wordpress and a similar genesis one, and I can (sort of) get the WordPress plugin to work so long as the entire thing is encapsulated in a <?php .... ?> tag. Meaning if I start to type in a php tag <?php (and try to insert my function or whatever in before closing it) it doesn't work. I don't know the best practice for this. With the genesis plugin it is even more sketchy. Would I be better off making my own snippets? Are their any other recommendations for text editors/plugins Thanks Zach |
I use Typeit4me, but I don't do much in the way of coding with it. For coding I tend to have a series of files that I keep my code organized in then copy, paste and edit.
