question on post types and categories
 

Hi,

I am looking to create a directory with post types. My current idea is to structure it like this:
- listings (post type)
- categories (archive)
- locations (archive type)

My question is I want a to be able to show a landing page for a combination of category and location. I could do this by creating sub categories in the locations with each category but that seems to be a lot of work. Is there a way to show all posts belonging to both a category and location?

Also can I set the slug for that as well?

You can have a listing archive which will show all of the post types regardless of the taxonomy they are assigned to.
