I am putting together a wordpress real estate site with Genesis and AgentPress. Is it necessary to Install the WordPress Table Prefix Rename Plugin? or is my site granted sufficient protection by the Genesis Framework:

Genesis does nothing to the WP database prefixes.

When we say Genesis is secure, we mean the Genesis *theme*. It does nothing to the rest of your installation.
