I signed up for the free blog site build through WPBeginner.com in which I paid for hosting through them and they didn't set my site up so here I am again trying to do it on my own. Anyone know if WPBeginner is a scam?

It's run by a very decent individual, so if there is an issue you should contact him. :)

Over how long of a timeframe? I know he;s at a wordcamp right now.

Thanks Andrea for bringing this to my attention. Joseph, I went through our SPAM box to find all of your emails. I think it got caught there because you were sending duplicate messages. In my records, I can see that the message:

"Ok the name servers are correct it just takes up to 72 hours to propagate" was sent several times within a short period of time.

We have a fairly aggressive SPAM filter. I will get someone to get back to you ASAP and get it all sorted out for you.
