bad rendering in IE6 and IE7
Wow. Just found out my site at http://www.insurgencywatch.com looks like hell in IE6 and IE7. Screenshots below:
http://www.insurgencywatch.com/wp-co.../image.ie6.png IE6 http://www.insurgencywatch.com/wp-co.../image.ie7.png IE7 As you can see, on IE6, the sidebar is knocked down to the bottom. And in IE7, the right side of the page has no boundary, so it looks like the blog just goes off to the right! I guess it's just mucked up CSS coding, but I don't know what to do to fix it. If anyone could help, that would be grand, thanks. Best, Chris |
Re: bad rendering in IE6 and IE7
it's got to be a change you made to the style sheet...the original renders properly in both versions. I suggest you keep a backup copy of your css, and upload the original version. Pop your changes in one by one until you come across your culprit.

Re: bad rendering in IE6 and IE7
I'm afraid the result is the same with the original, freshly downloaded style-sheet. I'm using http://ipinfo.info/netrenderer/index.php to test it as I'm on a Mac. But a friend of mine on a Windows system says he sees the same (bad) results.

ok...I tested the demo in ienetrender too, as I don't have either of those browsers. Sorry I'm not more helpful!
