Slow Loading
 

Is it just me or is my site really slow to load? www.hookedonhorses.co.uk

I have super cache enabled - anything else I can do to speed up the site?

if you are on shared hosting (GoDaddy is a really bad offender in this) - your site will load slow if another site on the same server is having a traffic spike...

ah that makes sense. I am with dreamhost. So once the site gets popular i should invest in a private server?

Another question about the cache - for example I make an update on a page - how long does it take for the cache to update? As its still showing the old data even though I have refreshed and restarted firefox - it shows up fine in IE though?

You should go to the Super Cache admin page in your Dashboard and clear the cache from the settings there.

See CACHE CONTENTS section & use delete cache button.
