Buddypress compatibility?
I got to know about Buddypress about a week ago and I was trying to implement it onto my website. But it doesnt seem to be working at all.
I did try installing 'BuddyPress Template Pack' but that doesnt seem to be helping me completely. The sidebar goes underneath all the main content. I need help here please. |
It's a big job. :-/ The template pack plugin doesn't do all the work, namely adding a pile of HTML to all the Buddypress templates that were added to the theme.
When Church becomes a Genesis child them, then we'll handle ( at premiumbpthemes.com) the BuddyPress parts. |
When will Church become a Genesis? :-(
|
I don't know - there will likely be a few changes to the original theme too.
|
Sounds good. Hope it happens soon though.
Thanks for your replies andrea :-) |
Sorry to bug you, but I have been breaking my head on this one as this is the ONLY thing which is pending in my website at the moment. I have managed to finish up everything else.
I have been working on my test website and I could do nothing. http://subhramani.com/members This is all I could get. Its just the sidebar which needs to be moved up. Can anything be done for this now? :-( |
Like they stated over in the Buddypress forums, you have to add a bunch of divs to most of the buddypress files that were added to the theme folder.
|
Thats what I needed help with. Cos I am not really familiar with this :-(
|
This falls into customization too, so you may have to find someone to help you.
I do know I've already gone over this in the BP forums for other themes. It's the same process. |
